Lise - Wow, he's so cute. Congratulations again. I hope everything has been going well since the birth.

WantBaby - I'm having a c-section due to the fact I have grade 3 placenta praevia, so the placenta is completely covering my cervix (no choice but a c-section).

Lisa B - I chose to go private, with one of my main reasons being that I wanted my own hospital room after the baby was born. Probably sounds shallow I know, but I just don't think I could handle sharing a room with up to 3 other women and their babies, as well as my own baby. I'm also a worrier, so I liked the idea of having my own OB throughout the pregnancy. Mind you, after each appt I have to wonder sometimes, since he really doesn't do that much. But for me, going private was peace of mind. Good luck with the scan next week.
