YogiBear - yep, I had quite strong cramping (AF type) on and off until about 7 weeks, it was quite disconcerting at first as I was convinced AF was coming, then found out I was PG! Totally natural to be worried about every little thing - these babies are hard fought and won. As for the no spotting - I had one mild spot the day before my positive BT, and then one tiny spot at about 10 weeks, and thats it so far. As Brunette said, everyone is different, don't stress if you're not spotting!
LondonMiss - oooh, pre-labour signs sounds exciting (even if they may hang around for a while) - better to have them than not, right?! Good luck for your doc appt on Wed. Love the idea of lying about the due date, unfortunately we've told lots of people already. But on the upside, our due date is not long after Christmas, so hopefully lots of people will still be away and not hassle us like you've been copping! As for the baby name issue you mentioned a few days ago, I usually say "so excited for you on the arrival of little XXX" or "can't wait to meet little XXX" - therefore avoiding commenting on the name, or the sex, if its ambiguous!
Brunette - I'm getting those leg cramps now, how annoying are they? I'm wriggling around like a mad thing at night, trying not to sleep on my back, and every time I move - boom! Cramp.
Lise - saw your beautiful photos, he's absolutely gorgeous! You must be besotted.
CK77 - thats fantastic news about your job, and then getting the redundancy right before the baby comes. Excellent timing! And no impact on the baby bonus - perfect. Yay for your tummy popping out! I can't wait til I look unequivocably pregnant, right now it still looks like I could be either or. PS you ARE tiny, if you ask me!
Hi to everyone else in here, hope you're all travelling well.
AFM - all good here, feeling like the fog is lifting (probably partly because I'm taking iron tablets now for the anaemia!), pants are getting snugger by the day, but the big thing is my BBs have just started killing me again, after being fine for 6 weeks. Think I'm going to get a maternity bra tomorrow. How early did others make the change over? I know its a personal thing, just worried that its so early. I fear that if I buy one now, it won't fit by the end! I'm quite big busted, who knows how big these babies are gonna get?!
