Lise, wow is all I can say about your birthing experience. You nearly made me cry, too! (Although TBH that's not hard in my hormonal state ATM hee hee).
Leabie, I also bought a maternity bra quite early on. Let me think ... I must have bought two at least a month ago, maybe more. My boobs have gone up a cup size and did so quite early, such that I couldn't fit into my normal bras, all of which were underwire and apparently not recommended while PG. My boobs have been sore all throughout my PG. Funnily enough, I thought soreness in the boobs was just an early PG sign. How wrong I was!
Wantbaby2, I agree with Paula, to be 59ks after gaining 14 ks, you must have been soooo tiny to begin with! Not long to go now, hey? How funny your mind playing tricks on you re the sex of the baby. FX it is a girl so you don't have to buy new baby boy clothes etc!
LM, as always, you have managed to make me laugh with your elephant gestation comment. Love it! Hope that with 3 of the 5 prelabour signs you are not too far away from meeting your precious little bundle. How do you feel about banana cake? I'm going to make one this weekend with citrus frosting. Yummo!
Juniper, I've seen the rooms at the Mater as my DH's sister recently gave birth to her second child there. They are really nice.
Paula, FX you get a good night's sleep tonight. I have been going to bed exhausted and really early but waking up extremely early - like 2 am or 4 am and not being able to get back to sleep. I agree with you that it's very cruel since we'll not be sleeping well for years to come, no doubt. I think it is mother nature preparing us, but it is very cruel and wrong!
