Mindhugs - ouch - I have heard it is a really big fat needle, but sorry, I have never had to use it so can't offer advice. Can you ask the doc? Can you do it into the thigh? I love your film idea - what an emotional one!

DR - Sounds like your counselling sesh was really helpful. I hope that after your scan and when bub is wriggling around more you can start to feel the bond you are looking for. It wont affect the baby if it doesn't happen till after the birth though - but I know what you mean in wanting it to come now. To be honest, I don't feel connected to mine yet and am still not comfortable talking about it with people - just because of how hard it was to get here. And I am SURE that your donor would have been a good person. Just the act of donating sperm and everything that entails suggests they have some really good qualities.
