Hi everyone,
Working from home today so just dropping in while I have my morning cuppa - then better got to work - so just a quick post!

Got by BT results and all looking good, my antinuclear antibodies have gone from high (when we had to do IVF) to low (which is clearly why we got pg) so only have to take aspirin - no heparin injections

GP wont give me a referal for a 6wk scan - argues that there is no point as if everything is not ok, a scan is not going to fix it. Not sure how I feel about that as I think I would just like to know with a little bit more certainty how things are looking, but oh well thats the medical profession for you! Now working out when to see th ob - last time I had to start seeing him from 8wks but not sure this time...

Possums - glad that you are going well and good luck with the MRI

BDT - about the heart beat - great news and looks like a wonderful h&h 9 months for you and bub!

JBM - wishing you all the best for your scan that it all goes well (which of course it will)

Oneday - I think I first felt a kick with DS when I was at about 18wks but I did not know what it was at the time (but to be honest it really started at about 21wks and it was then that i realised I felt a kick at 18wks) - but I remember the ob a few weeks before doing the ultrasound and seeing DS kick me and saying 'didnt you feel that, what about that?' and I was just looking at him blankly thinking I'm not feeling a thing! It is a stress but once it happens it is wonderful (if not slightly annoying after a while when it happens when you want to sleep!)

Mindhugs - it is distressing enought to hear about those sorts of things without knowing people who are involved either directly or through the emerg services. I hope that your BIL and his family get lots of support - no matter what someone does for a living they should never have to come across an incident like that.

Hello to everyone else - sorry for missing personals but had better do some work!
