lol JBM - thought you might like that So close to your scan... we decided that we'd get the 3D one if they couldn't tell us the sex on the regular scan. They could so we didn't get it Hope your appt goes well today!

Hey ladies Well all i can say about my daughter is that she is one cheeky girl. We had our 4D ultrasound on friday, she is in the breached position and she had her hands and feet over her face nearly the whole time! After going to the loo and a 5 min walk with some coke to drink she finally moved her hands and feet so we could see her face and get some pics. It was amazing and we think we can pick some facial features of mine and DH's so we will have to wait till she arrives now to see what the little miss looks like.

Starting to struggle a bit with work now mainly because im on a radiculous 10-6 shift 5 days a week and im just buggered by the end of the day!

My family baby shower was so much fun, are you ladies having one?

    Hi everyone,

I've been hanging out to hear Trishy's news as she was to be induced on Monday if the baby hadn't arrived before then. Has anyone heard anything? I hope it all went well.

Who was having their bub yesterday? Was that Mindhugs? My memory is shocking. I hope it went well too.

Hopefully both mums are cuddling their bubs right now.

I am really getting to the stage of being over being pregnant now and still 10 days off my due date. It's getting so hard to move around and I just feel sore everywhere. Last night I thought about Kellie (who had the twins around May) and I just thought how on earth did she cope with being so big and still having a toddler to look after as well. She was huge and I'm struggling with how big I am and no little kids to worry about.

Reno's are back on but because I'm finding it so difficult to get around now I'm at the stage where I really don't care if we have to take a break from them for me to have bub. Quite a few of the jobs I just can't do (for example painting down low - I can't lie down on the floor to paint any more). And we still have to finish plastering in my daughter's new bedroom and putting new metal around the windows on the outside to make them fully sealed. Agghhhh

My mum and I had a fight on Tuesday and she threatened to take my Dad and leave... all because I suggested that a tiny bump on one window frame wasn't worth worrying about when we have so much else to do and I was happy to leave it as it is... you only notice it if you actually go looking for it. But she said she didn't want my father's name attached to anything less than perfect so instead of starting on more urgent jobs we have had to spend hours re-planing and sanding that window frame and repainting it etc. I am really getting over it all!

dreamrise - sounds like you could use a break! Hope it's not too much longer for you
oneday - how much longer will you be at work for? Sounds tiring! glad you had a good scan and enjoyed your shower. I'm undecided about having one. In the past couple years I've made excuses to not go to any, so it doesn't really feel right for me to have one now itms!

Trishy and Mindhugs - hope everything has gone really well and you are resting up with your new bubs

Good luck with your scan JBM- I'm sure it will be worth the wait xx ( bad luck about the thrush- I hate it)

oneday- vbac is 'vaginal birth after caeserean section'. Your girl must be very modest, lucky she gave in eventually. I don't blame you being tired with working that long, do you have to stand up at work or sit?

dreamrise- hope your baby comes soon!

kass- can't beleive you are 22wks already that has flown!

m+h+b- I hope you get a vbac too! At least you will have given it a go. What was the reason for your first c/s if you don't mind me asking??. I wouldn't bother with a baby shower either if I was still vomiting, you have other things to think about!!

afm- 6 wks here, and I think i had my first bout of nausea last night- believe it or not I have been looking forward to it!! sick i know! I have my scan one week from today , cannot wait to see a heartbeat.
have a great day everyone xx

saffy: eeek morning sickness !!!! i am still getting it although not EVERY day now, thank goodness !. counting down to your scan. good luck . mmmm thrush is not nice as you said .

oneday: mmmm 7 weeks time off before baby sounds nice, i will be working as long as possible even from home if i can't go to work as being self employed no one else does my work if i am not there. lol. good luck to you. lol about baby hiding behind face, typical. but at least you got a pic in the end. x

mehimebub: i only ever had one baby shower and that was with baby number one, i prob need one as i have nothing since we gave it all away when DH had vas !? LOL . try not to worry about your VBAC. and don't watch anything on youtube that'll make you cry. a lady in my pregnastics class is going to try and it's been done before. fingers crossed for you. good luck with re doing your glucose test next week. hope it all goes well.

kass: you NEED a baby shower for your first baby and no one is going to care that you didn't come to theirs, believe me. mine was great it was a suprise that some friends completely organised then sent me an invite to it. it was so funny and i still remember the fun i had 13 years later. good luck to you.

dreamrise: it's so hard the last stage of pregnancy, i remember now !. it just draggs on and a day feels like a week sometimes. hope you and your mum are o.k. fightin not good during pregnancy but i am sure she's just doing what she thinks best ( hopefully, unless she's related to my Mum )? good luck to you counting down the days. can't wait to hear your Ba. FINGERS CROSSED for a quick one for you. x o x o

Saffy - I know what you mean about looking forward to being sick I never had the sickness stage, and it just made me worry a lot! That said, hope you don't get too nauseous!
JBM - hope your scan went well today!
Oneday - I can't believe you'll be working that long! At least you have the sick leave if you need it - although it might be nicer to save that for after your girl arrives to extend your mat leave a bit
mhb - hope you get your vbac, and are feeling better soon!

afm - had a checkup this morning and everything seems to be going really well. Also went shopping for some fat pants Comfy!

well it is a boy for sure !
lots of wriggling the whole time during the scan and poking out his bits for all to see.
already showing male behaviour. lol. . it took almost 1 hr to do scan as it was wriggling so much but all is good. i loved to see baby and DH was excited to see another boy too. although he is a little sad its not a girl, maybe just for me ?. he was a little quiet after scan but i said well we are having a healthy baby and thats what i'm concerned about. he agreed .

we went to gold class cinemas then and saw the last Harry Potter movie and ate some food. it was nice to have some kid free time together. LOL. but there was no kissing .

i am really feeling pregnant and seem to have poped out more in the last week. the guy doing the scan said baby doubles in size in next 3 weeks ! wow then i'm going to be huge.

all is good and feeling fine.

kass: yeah with DS 1 i was tiny until about 25 weeks then only got a litttle bigger but by 30 weeks was looking pregant finally only to have him 7 weeks after that LOL. then i had a quick 6 hr labour with no drugs. ALL my friends hated me for being tiny and having a quick labour with a 8 pound baby too. 3 weeks early. but those friends love me now !!!! as i am looking pregnant and fat. prob still have another quick labour and early again too but they don't hate me as much now. ha ha ha.

good luck with those "fat pants"
