m+h+b - wow. That sounds like a really dramatic birth. Glad you were both ok at the end of it. I don't have any good suggestions for pants. I've use a bit of elastic around the button and though the buttonhole, leaving the zip undone to give mine a bit more room (covering it up with a long singlet ), But that's not the best solution! Are you any good with a sewing machine? Maybe try an op-shop or online - there must be navy pants our there somewhere!

JBM - you're so evil! I know it's unlikely, but I'm keeping hopeful You're right, dresses and skirts make it ok - unfortunately my skirts all seem to be shrinking lol!
