    Hiya!

    Just a quick one...

To all you lovely ladies staring down the barrell of a caesar, something to think about. This article was posted on Facebook by none other than our fearless leader, Belly Belly Kelly! I have printed it off and am taking it to my next Ob appoint to discuss the possibility of this should I end up going down this road.

Delivered safely by caesarean with his mother's hands - National - theage.com.au

SMithy: thanks hun I am loving my big round belly at the moment and trying to make the most of these last few weeks! Poor Coops, make sure you eat a nice big juicy steak in front of him tonight

Thinking of you BDT! Go you lil mama you!

Oh wierd - not sure I could do that! I see she's a nurse, it probably makes her braver. It's not the baby bit that I couldn't do, it's watching someone cutting me open. I think it might make my heart rate panic the aneathetist!

I havent been able to post for a while as I have been moving blimin' house. It was a snap decision but had to be done before Blue arrives and thank goodness we did it! No way in HELL could I have managed it will with a newborn. Anyways we are all moved in and I love the new house. I have discovered that not having the interwebs or foxtel is a form of torture to a 32wker with a seperated pelvis lol.

I cant catch up on the persies but am so happy to see that everyone is going great guns

SO excited for BDT!!! Surely not long to go now!

And you too Smithy! How wonderful! She's just gorgeous

Wow. It just struck me how quickly the time has gone. Its quite scary actually... sometimes I am still shocked that I am preg. STILL doesnt seem real. Am I nuts or does anyone sometimes feel that its just SURREAL?

    Big huge hugs everyone,

    Sammie

    Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for your well wishes.

OMG I am in heaven. Our baby girls were born yesterday, 3rd Feb at 8.34 am and 8.35 am, Aria weighing 2.3kg and Sophia weighing 2.8kg. The C-section was so quick and smooth, both girls came out beautifully, we had skin to skin in recovery, were in the nursery by 9.00 am, and they both had their first breast feed right away. It was divine and I can not have hoped for a better birth experience by C-section. Both girls are perfect and no troubles at all, so good in fact they are rooming in with us and no time in special care nursery. They are both having a good go breastfeeding, and it seems like I have a good supply of colostrum so far, am just about to start expressing.

I can't believe they are finally here and they are ours, they are beautiful, Aria a little more like me, and Sophia a little more like DH in looks. I am so in love with them already!

Here are some pics on facebook. Login | Facebook

Will be back to catch up soon, love to you all and thank so much for your support.

Saph, hope you are going well with your little man too. Hi to everyone else, xx

And the girls. THE GIRLS. Never in my life have a seen a baby SMILING at only hours old, what exactly is in the water over there in Goldy? You all look AMAZING.

I'm telling ya girl, you have truly raised the bar...

BDT: I'm so happy both Aria & Sophia arrived safely, they look beautiful. I can see from the photo with DH that he already has lost his heart to your princesses. So much for all your drama earlier on with no boy hey..

Take your time to get used to this new time in your life and we will all be waiting for you next door when you get the energy to join all of us mummies.
