Went to Ob. last night...appointment was at 3pm but didn't get in to see him until 7:30pm due to his two deliveries within that time!
Anyway...Ziggy still hasn't moved...no engagement at all...and still posterior. Cervix is firmly shut...my Ob. isn't wanting to induce me as he thinks that it will end up as a failed induction and emergency c/s, as my body is just not giving any signs of wanting to deliver. He's also worried about rupturing the membranes (something to do with a concern about the umbilical cord moving in front of the Ziggy's head and then causing problems)...
So...he's given me the choice of waiting until Friday and doing a elective c/s if labour hasn't started or doing a c/s earlier. Although Ziggy is healthy at the moment, I must admit that I'm becoming increasingly worried about him/her and have decided to elect to have a c/s earlier. We rang our Ob. this morning and he's going to look at booking me in for Monday afternoon!
Amazingly, I feel totally at peace with my decision. Feel like my Ob. really understands...he was so lovely about acknowledging that 'this wasn't my dream' but he also said how much we had battled to get to this point (being a LT-er). Felt very understood and listened to.
So...I can't quite believe this...but looks like (if the theatre is free), we'll be meeting Ziggy Monday afternoon!!!

But if I go into labour before then...then I'll have a natural delivery! Either way...I feel like I'm a winner, getting to meet our precious little Ziggy!
Would love to post some personals...but are now frantically trying to get house ready for renovations, given that we are probably not going to be around next week!
