monnie - it's all sounding good for you hun - not long now til ziggy puts in an appearance!

Mako - thanks for asking after me hun - went to the doctor this morning as bleeding has become much worse. waiting on blood test confirmation tomorrow, but both he and the clinic believe i have lost the baby - and it is likely to be labelled a chemical pregnancy - so i'm out of here again for now - and hoping next time i pop my nose in, it's in here for a good long nine months

    Hey guys

No labour news as yet...today's my due date but I think I heard something like 2% of baby's are actually born on their EDD...so I guess I'm part of that 98%...

Feeling really heavy today...really heavy...been out and about today and I think that I'll really try to spend my days at home from now on...just get so tired and feel a little like a 'carnival attraction'...

Still very excited...also very emotional...doesn't take much for me to get teary at the moment...was listening to a beautiful piano concerto yesterday and burst into tears at the end of it!!!

    Anyway...hope everyone is doing okay...

    Monnie

    Hi guys,

Just thought I would introduce myself - I have now been lurking for too long. I was too scared to post as I thought I might jinx myself - which is weird and it is also affecting the preparation for the bubs coming as I am also too scared to buy anything.

Anyway, it is 20 weeks today and I was extra extra lucky and got a positive on our first go at IVF. We also had a weird thing happen - one got put in and the egg split, so it looks like we are having identical twins. Which I think my doctor was a little disappointed about as he wanted it to be an easy safe single birth.

Anyway - I feel like I know all of you after hanging around for so long. Monnie, good luck with everything - I am looking forward to hearing the details.

BG - I am sorry to hear your news, I look forward to seeing you here soon.

    Hi to everyone else!

    Mstickles...CONGRATULATIONS and WELCOME!!

What amazing news! 20 weeks with identical twins...so excited for you!

So thrilled! Glad you're able to join us here at PALTTTC...it's a lovely place to be...

No news on my front...been ironing and vacuuming and dusting today...so maybe that's a sign...feel pretty exhausted but just couldn't stand the dust anymore!!! It's amazing how I've developed this incredible sensitivity to dust and dirt in the last couple of weeks...LOL!!! We live in a pretty clean house but everywhere I look recently seems filthy!!!

    How's everyone else doing?

Welcome Mstickles and congratulations on twins!
My DH and I were kinda hoping that our emby would split into identicals, but wasn't to be. DH partly because he has this idea that we're going to have six children.... I ask him who is going to "have" the other three.

So, Monnie, soon I think you're going to have to have a serious chat with Ziggy. We all wait with bated breath...
    Take care

Welcome Mstickles and congratulations on having identical twins on the way

Monnie It sounds like youv'e still got the nesting instinct going on hun. Thats a good sign lol. I'm sending you lots and lots and lots and lots on L.V's .

Wow marcellas Your dh wants 6 babies. I'd be asking him where they are all coming from lol. My dh wants 2 and thats it. I think I've resigned myself to that number aswell. I used to always say that I'd love to have 4 before I was 30. Thats definately not going to happen now lol.

ALR Sending you hun. I'm sure all will work out ok for you and your bub. You don't need to appologise either as we are all entitled to get our feelings out and thats what we are here for. Take care chickie.

Not heaps to report here. I have my ob appointment in the morning and I have to say that I'm looking forward to that. My hands and feet are swollen again atm. I don't think I've over done anything today. I've done some ironing and then went to work for a couple of hours this afternoon and thats it ,so who knows? Anyway thats about all thats going on. I can't believe that I'll be in the 3rd trimester as of Thursday. Where has the time gone??

I hope you are all doing well

ALR...so sorry to hear about your phonecall...I've posted in your other thread, but just wanted to say that I'm thinking of you and just hoping that everything works out wonderfully. Hang in there, chickie!

Marcellus...yep...feel free to give Ziggy a little talking to...he/she doesn't seem to be listening to me much at the moment!!! Still doesn't feel like he/she has engaged...stubborn little thing! Let's hope it's a sign of a wonderful character of individuality developing!

Mako...send the LV's my way with gusto!!! Can't quite believe I'm this close...amazing! So hoping your hands and feet settle down. Is it anything to do with the weather? I know I had some swelling (probably about the same number of weeks as you) and I was really worried that it was going to continue...but it settled...like my body sort of figured out what to do with the extra fluid...wishing the same thing...all the best at your appointment tomorrow!

Hope everyone else is doing well...

You must be so worried ALR - big hugs. Don't blame you for not wanting to talk to them any more.
And definately no need to apologise.
I'll be thinking about you and hoping for good news.

Yeah Mako, I was "supposed" to have kids before 30 too... oh well. I'm not 100% certain whether the six kids is for real or not. Given that it's taken 2 years to conceive, he is probably scaling back his expectations.

Keep nesting Monnie, maybe Ziggy will get the message.

    Hi ladies,

Have recently found out I'm pregnant and can't believe it after trying for almost 4 years .................... still in lala land!

Its amazing how for all those years you are anxious about whether or not you are going to get pregnant and then when you finally get here you start to worry about other things such as will it continue to grow, will it be health etc......

I am currently feeling quite nauseaous and my boobs are getting sorer...due to have first ultrasound on 27 August.

Look forward to sharing this miracle of a journey with you all...
