If that is the best strategy for you, then go for it. I can understand your need to have the support of your DH during this time. Take care of yourself.

hun - thats what helped me this time around, I refused any scans till 12 weeks and only had a couple of BT's to check on the HCG.

I preferred to sit back, not stress and let my little unit have peace and quiet. Of course we will never really know if this helped at all, but after 2 mc's this little one certainly stuck! (I am sure, deep down, that my attitude in the first 12 weeks had much to do with it).

    Hang in there little one!

    Hi there,
just letting you know how I am going. Much the same, what a long week it has been and it is only Friday. I was very low on Monday, better on Tuesday and feeling a whole lot better today. Working for Wed and Thurs was the best thing to keep my mind off the whole issue of my little Banana Peanut.
I have sore BB's off and on, and slight nausea at times, it has sort of decreased as the week has gone on. I think that I am prepared for the worst, so that I can cope with it.
My DH comes home today which is fantastic.

I don't want to get ahead of myself or make you feel like I am giving up but this is it. If my little one hasn't pulled throught this week we have decided enough is enough. I have had too much in the last 4 years to deal with. Our lives are on hold and I can't do it anymore. We have one more embryo waiting for us but it can wait until Mum and Dad are in a better head space. I love this little Banana Peanut and the thought of it ending like this is way too much.
Thanks for you messages of support and positive thinking. I am trying to keep positive but realistic at the same time.
    Thanks again
I will let you know how the Ultra sound goes on Monday

Hi Poppihome, I am wishing you all the best result on Monday and can totally understand your 'prepare the worst' bit as well. Its our human nature to protect ourselves and its always good to have a back-up plan and knowing where you stand. Do what you feel comfortable but hey lets hope that we don't need that bac-up plan at all.

I'm so sorry to hear you are going through such a stressful situation. I had spotting and cramps early on too and the baby was fine. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you that your U/S on Monday goes well and your little peanut is doing well.

I have just read your thread Waiting1 and that has given me hope. I am feeling so confused and can't wait for this next ultrasound. Thanks for the repliesxxxxxx
Great news today, my sister is pregnant!! I am very excited for her and if all goes well for both of us we will be only a couple of weeks apart....how funny
Fingers crossed and God give me patients to get thru just a couple more days.
    Thanks so much everyonexxxx

Wanted to put this out to the universe!!

    Prayer for a safe pregnancy

This life you have given us
is so tiny, fragile, and vulnerable,
safe in the womb of flesh and hope,
yet subject to danger and death.
O God of love, creator of life,
    hear our prayer.
We want this baby so much.
Please grant this child of ours
    a full term of nurture,
the joy and mystery of life,
and the blessing of your love.
Grant us the fulfillment of our dreams,
a baby to cherish and protect,
a child to teach and guide,
    a blessing to our family.
    Amen.

I thought this was just lovely and fitting for how I feel right now.
I am putting it out to the universe to get us through tomorrow
