Just wanted to pop in quickly to say yay yay yay for Mia and DG. DG: Fingers crossed that the next few weeks are all good and your life is insanely boring for the next 7/8 months
Sorry I don't post in here often ladies, I do pop in from time to time and have you all in my thoughts. You're all such brave mummies, keep fighting! Nearing the end of my pregnancy I'm getting very sentimental about the whole journey, including my previous pregnancy with our angel as it is all part of it. I just can't believe that we've come this far and that it looks as though I'll have a baby in a month or so! I'm so proud of my little one for hanging in there and fighting with
me. I used to tell my belly in the early stages, "how about we do this thing bubby. How about we both just stick together and go the whole thing" lol. It is so hard though and many of you are braver than I. I know a lot of you are in those terrible early stages of pregnancy and i guess i just wanted to share my thoughts with you as you will all get to the stage I'm at now. There is a special soul just for you waiting to be brave and stick with you. You gotta believe it! Hang in there mummies. Much love and sticky vibes to you all... Xoxoxo
Hey everybody!
Yay for awesome scans
Afm- sorry for the me post I'm on my phone. Hcg was only 262. The doctors I have seen have been awful except for my normal GP today. The first doc on tuesday kept asking me If I was keeping the baby and that I looked like I was struggling with 2 (because I was trying to get ds2 bottle out of the bottom of the pram one handed while holding him. Just because I have a 7 month old doesn't mean I don't want this baby!
Then I went yesterday and this doc refused to give me another hcg test because I wasn't bleeding. He repeatedly cut me off and refused to look up my history- we argued and he then proceeded to tell me I was acting overemotional and ridiculous. I left after that.
But today was better. Not feeling that positive but I still have hope.
Big hugs to everyone that needs them xxxx
OMG Yas what a *#%*# of a doctor! How dare someone makes comments like that O.o. FX your bub is a super sticky one. Every healthy pregnancy starts with a hcg of 1 and at some stage has a hcg of 262, so hang in there!
Thanks Maruschke OMG not long now! You must be getting so big (and lets face it....uncomfy!) So excited for you! xxxx
DG- Omg hun. I am SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!! I am so relieved everything is good so far, only 30 weeks to go, so yay for double digets! Lots of love and the stickiest vibes EVER xxxxx
Alison- Big hugs, and lots of sticky vibes for your little bubba.
Dantri- good luck for your impending birth!!!! xx
AFM- DS2 is commando crawling around my feet drooling all over my foot lol. In a strange way that gives me hope that everything might be ok- it's happened before!
Stickiest dust xxxx
Oh Yas - what an a*s! You have every right to know what's going on with your body and your baby. New dr required!! How far along are you?
Dantri - thanks for popping in and congrats on almost having your little one in your arms. I love positive stories, even if they make me cry (again!)
Mia and DG - I hope you're still on a high!!
Maruschke - sorry about the but it's true, ha ha ha!
Allison - My ob could tell how stressed I was when I went in after bleeding so never told me the size of the SCH. I could tell it wrapped around the bottom of the sac but I was 10wks2 by then so sac was bigish. The ultrasound place told me they couldn't see it on Monday so I'm really hoping it's resolved itself. I don't 100% believe them because I know the ob had to search really hard to find it cos it was at the back. I'll find out next Wednesday. I didn't have any spotting after the day of bleeding but the ob did tell me that I might. He said if I did, it should be brown and it's just old blood from the SCH coming out. I really hope that's what yours is doing You've been through so much, it should be your turn! I hope you've got plenty to distract yourself this weekend and that Monday arrives really quickly
Hi everyone else - I hope everything is going perfectly. I have nothing to report today - which is great!!
Yas - What terrible experiences you've had. Im so mad at those Drs! Im praying for a sticky one for you.
Mich - Just wanted to give you some reassurance. Whenever I had a SCH, no matter whether it was big or small it was always easily identifiable by the sonographer. They always noticed it fairly straight away because it appears as a big black mass on u/s near or next to the sac. I know you said yours was around the back, but I honestly believe if it was not large enough to be easily seen, then it can hardly be large enough to cause problems, even if it is wrapped around the back. It does sound like you bled it out (I never bled with any of mine) so I think thats a fantastic sign. I hope there is still no sign of it on Wed.
Alison - Wishing you well for Monday.
Dantri - Lovely to hear from you. Wishing you all the best for the birth of your precious little one.
No news from me because Im stuck in bed with m/s. Poor DH has to do everything around here atm. Lucky he is working from home this month.
Thanks girls. I'm doing ok, there's nothing I can do but wait so I am pupo ATM. My gorgeous BF came over with her miracle bub (Jett- or rocket man as I call him ) and brought me chocolate and we had Maccas for tea, talked **** till 11 and I feel so much better. I can't control the outcome but luckily I have some beautiful online and IRL people holding my hand. Thankyou girls xxxx
Yas - I'm so glad your friend came over. What a wonderful person.
Saffy - I'm so sorry about your cat. It's so heartbreaking. I guess we are just guarding ourselves from the worst case? I don't know I feel better knowing I'm not the only one feeling this. I know I can't change the outcome but it doesn't ease the fear and anxiety. My clinic do 2 BT's the initial one and then a follow up one 7 days later.
Mich - I'm trying to take each appointment as a milestone and not think too far ahead. The 'what if's" creep in.
AFM - I had my BT this morning and levels are fine. HCG 7580 and progesterone 223.1. So next milestone is the 7 week viability scan.
Alison, my heart just sank when I read your news. Im so sorry. Nobody should ever go through 4 m/cs in a row. All I can say is that I know what you are going through and how it just rips you apart. I was shocked and started hyperventilating when I saw my still baby on the screen for the fourth time. I couldnt comprehend it. Im sure this is how you are feeling. Cry, yell, scream whatever you need to. Im so sorry.
