    Yas
    Congrats Audax on your scan

Sparkles and MD - some days are better then others but there's always that little voice doubting the whole situation when you've gone through m/c, I think most of us here can agree. All we can do is stick together and show support when we can I hope you both feel better and have sticky little ones in the oven.

Mich8 - for todays scan let us know how you go and if you get your results

    Hi all,
Thanks Mia Well phew, 12 week scan was really good. I'm pinching myself! Baby was moving so much they had a hard time measuring. Risk of any of the chromosomal disorders was really low. The happy excited feeling I have after scans usually lasts for about a day, but I'm hoping it hangs around for a while this time! Oh, and the lady couldn't see any sign of the subchorionic haematoma. I'm not 100% convinced it's gone since the ob had to really search to find it since it's hiding at the back. But at least that means it hasn't gotten big - so happy times

Mia and DG - I can't wait to hear happy news from you guys too this Wednesday

Hi everyone else and welcome Yas. Sorry about the me post - I'll be back later to "chat".

Audax - Thats fantastic news. Im so happy for you!! Im glad youve been off enjoying being pg!

Mich - Great news too! I knew you'd be fine! Woohoo!!! Im so happy for you also.

AFM - Im ok, I am stressing less and less about my scan on Wed. I cant change the outcome so I guess Im at peace with it atm. Wed may be a totally different story though.

Mich8 thats great news Do you mind me asking where you had your scan done? If you want just send me a private msg.
I think where I'm having mine it'll depend on who I get on the day, if they're willing to say anything re the results or not cos I had a pretty rude lady on the phone when I first rang and she said definately NO info re the results will be given on the day of until the BT come back!
Lets hope I have a "nice" person who atleast puts our minds at ease. Once I have this sorted I can start telling ppl, we're dying to tell ppl now LMAO

DG - thats how I have gone through these 12 wks, you cant stop whats meant to happen, we just hope for the best

hi girls, I'm joining too, got my long awaited BFP on Saturday, so was happy for about 1 day but now the stress has set in already. No real reason, my HCG was high (334 12dp3dt) but you all know what its like.

Congrats to everyone who had a good scan recently, and to anyone worried and stressed, its a hard journey.

Quick question- I am due for my dreaded 7 wk scan on 30th May, 3 days before going on a holiday to Hamilton Island ( for my 40th). Do you think I am pushing my luck having a scan so close to going away, or should i just presume all will be well? I have never had a 'good' scan so am trying not to expect the worst but its all I know. If I move it forward I mght get an ambiguous result whcih would be stressful too. Urghh decision, decisions. Might call the ivf nurses and discuss it.

Sorry its all about me, will do proper persies later.

Saffy - Im soo happy you got your long awaited BFP!

As for your scan, its up to you, but I would say, have one when you are ready. I was supposed to have a scan at 7 wks but ended up not having it because I was just too stressed about it. My last three losses have been detected in scans, so just like you, all I expect to hear is bad news. Im having my first scan at 10 weeks (tomorrow) because Im at the point now where I just need to know. GL for whatever you decide. I truly hope it is good news for you this time and that you have a wonderful holiday.

Mia - GL for your NT scan.

Welcome Saffy - I'm soooooooo excited to see you over here If you're feeling terrified and paranoid, you're in good company, everyone understands!! About the scan, personally I'd have it because I find I'm in a better headspace if I know what's going on, whether it's good or bad. But it's your choice of course! Also, since you're sure of your dates, a 7 week scan shouldn't be too ambiguous should it? There'd definitely be a heartbeart by then

DG - good to hear you're stressing less. Yep we can't change the universe, just hope for the best. That said, I'm feeling really excited and really nervous for you too!!

Mia - Pity they won't tell you the results on the day. Don't they understand how anxious we are? Actually, while waiting for my scan, every woman there looked so calm and relaxed, it was only me who was a bundle of nerves, grrr! Well I'm hoping and praying that everything is perfect at your scan and that you come away feeling confident even if you don't get the specific results for a few days

Rockingbaker - boo to nausea, I hope it eases soon

Audax - I got teary reading about loving our babies even if they don't stay long. You're so right!

Yas - I hope all is going well so far, how far along are you?

MummyDuck - argh, I was the same, panicking when I felt great. It's so much better once symptoms completely go, nothing to obsess over!!

Sparkles - cry away, there's nothing more stressful than spotting in pregnancy. You just want answers, understandable!! Would more scans put your mind at ease, would they do weekly just so you know?

AFM - I told my family yesterday! It was great but I'm still paranoid that telling people is jinxing myself! Apparently the baby's due date of 17th of Nov was my due date so that's kind of cool

Mich - Its a 4 hour return trip (thats just the driving part) to get an ultrasound so kinda out of the question, but i have another thurs week! If i could get one closer i would every week with this damn spotting!

    Hi Ladies

I'm also joining you. I see some familiar names (Diamond Gir,l Mich & Saffy).

I had my BETA BT on Saturday the same as Saffy. So It's baby steps for each milestone. First one being the next BT this coming Saturday. Apparently I have good "strong" HCG levels. So FX this one is a sticky. I don't want to think too far ahead because I don't want to jinx myself.

Welcome Porche!! - Congratulations on great numbers. One step at a time is the way.

Maruschke - I didnt really want to post this because I was feeling so good yesterday, so at peace with it all and that was great. But today all Ive done is cry at what could be my last full day of pg. I am a mess. I saw the panadol ad on TV with the u/s scan and I just lost it. My anxiety went through the roof. Im so scared. Thankyou, Im really needing those hugs because I know the stats arent great after 4 m/cs in a row.

DG I think it is totally understandable, given when you've gone through . I'm not sure much can make it better... hopefully time doesn't drag for you and the good news tomorrow resolves the anxiety.

Just wanted to pop in and say good luck for tomorrow DG. I hope your scan is in the morning so you're not spending the day waiting with growing anxiety. I have absolutely everything crossed for you.

I've been stalking a bit but not posting - I feel as if I'm jinxing myself if I'm positive about it, but likewise if I'm negative. I'm still a complete basket case myself with at least one round of tears each day - moved on from miscarriage fears to sleeping baby fears. I can't shake the feeling that I've somehow cheated the system and this baby is not meant to be.

DG - Sending you positive vibes for tomorrow, we'll both be stressing with our tests but all goes well

Mich8 thanks heaps for your support, I cant believe they wouldnt allow me to do my bt 2 weeks ago so I can just have all the results tomorrow! Ahhh well what can you do see how things go and hoping for happy news for the day before my bday! EEKS!

AFM - looking forward to the scan tomorrow just to see the little one again but also tentative, ofcourse, of the outcome. See how we go and hopefully I have a lovely person doing the scan that can say wink wink "you wont have anything to worry about" but I doubt I'll be that lucky. I'll just remind them its my bday on thursday maybe they'll take pitty!
