Congrats VV and Cheshire!! Am so glad that your littlies are there and with HB!
How's everyone else going? Morning sickness easing a bit yet?
AFM Have had a couple of busy days. Have been very confident about this pregnancy and even bought an awesome 2nd hand pram and bassinet today! I've been having my eyes on this one since the beginning of the month, but didn't dare to buy till after I'd seen the ob. Luckily just in time as there were some other people interested too! Just relaxing on the lounge now, can't wait for bedtime! Have a good night!

Me excited and scared I'm going to tell my mum on the weekend. Thinking ill wait till after 12 week scan for everyone else then work hmmmmmmmmmmm maybe 16 weeks yes I'm a chicken. Was offered another bt Friday but it doesn't fit with work so Tuesday. Feel positive and all the cramping has settled. Feeling rally tired and just want a sleep in maybe on the weekend. DS is full on. Not sure if its me him or both.

I'm at the PBS absolutely petrified. I have had the worst pains ever but I did just go to the toilet and had a bit of diareahea ... I'm hoping it's just that coz I think the pains not so bad... I hate these scans as it is and that just made me panick. Plus I had a fight with hubby so he is not here.

    Hi All,

Thanks for the welcome. I am following your posts but am still at the moment. Congrats to all that have had positive scans.

I got my referral for bloods and a scan but haven't done either yet. Will get the bloods done this coming week and I don't know about the scan. I want to see that everything is ok but also don't want to go too early and risk not seeing much ( I spent a couple of weeks in limbo with the last mc when the scan showed it wasn't as far ahead as it should have been) I thought I would have been obsessive about getting everything done straight away but I've surprised myself by sticking my head firmly in the sand.

Em -i hid out here till 10 weeks. I understand what your going through. My DH were in denial and barely spoke about being pg until after a scan at 14 weeks. Even after the 12 weeks we were still freaked out about losing it. I dont think the fear goes 100% but with each hurdle it get a bit easier. Good luck and hid in here for as long as it takes.

Yep. I feel the same. We have barely spoken about it at all and Im not allowing myself to feel excited about it. Hoping that will change after the scan but I dont know.

Thanks Vic and Calluna. It's good to know I am not alone in my denial reaction. A part of me feels guilty for not being excited but I just couldn't bear to get attached and have another bad ending.

Mel that is awful I know I even felt guilty for my pg when one of my friends had a mc.
Totally understand the delay in excitement em and vic when I passed my mc week I feel better.
Bt tomorrow also great job came up at work do you think it's ok not to tell them I'm pg until after I get the job? I don't want to miss out and wonder was it due to pg?

I was going to put this in its own thread but there was a few places it could have gone and none really fit quite right. So here it is.

I dont know if it is because I waited so long for this baby, or if its because of my early loss, or maybe a combination of the two, but I still get that pang of jealousy everytime someone announces the birth of thier babes.

I dont feel like my pregnancy is real, and everytime someone announces a bub I have to remind myself I am pregnant.
Everytime someone announces a birth I feel sad and jealous because we were TTC when they got thier BFP. If those cycles were succesful for us, Id have my baby in my arms by now instead of being terrified of a missed mc showing up on our 12 weeks scan in a couple of weeks.

Am I the only one who still hurts when they see BAs and PAs even though they are UTD?
