Thanks Mildez, How are you going?
AFM I went in on Saturday to have the stitch, stayed overnight. I think it all went well. I have a follow up early next week. I have been told I can be up and about but not sure to what extent I should be doing long walks (which I normally do a lot of) etc. So I am still getting lots of time lying down and taking things easy. The experience was very full on mentally, being awake in theatre, but not at all bad physically so if anyone is worried about how it feels, that might be reassuring. I had already experienced an epidural with the birth of DD so there were no surprises. I did feel fairly exposed and occasionally I overheard what the doctor was saying to his medical student and this was not the best thing for me. I just did some breathing and it was over. I feel pretty emotional day by day. I am just putting one foot in front of the other.
Hope all is well with you Mildez and others too.
