Ooooo, lucky first post for me!! Heaps of and everyone!

Greenslw - Excellent number hun, hope that puts your mind at rest a little The Wii Fit is great too, I really like the stepping exercises on it. Not too strenuous, but I feel like I have done something too KWIM? My DD is the funniest thing on it too, she loves it already. There's a game where you have to head soccer balls and dodge shoes that they kick at you at the same time - she thinks it is particularly funny to head butt the shoes! It was so funny to watch her, and she nearly wet herself laughing (literally) Would definitely recommend it!

Feeling that new thread energy already

Greenslw - I always enjoy everyone's excitement about whether bub is a girl or a boy - but with both mine I decided that given labour - I really enjoy having a surprise at the end of it!!!! I just like to torture the nanas with suspense twisted little tacker that I am... I remember with DD - so stunned sitting there in the loungeroom gazing at this rosy little bundle completely forgot to ask our midwife what we actually had had until the umbilical cord moved sideways when I lifted her up...

Haley07 and Cherished - very excited for you both with your good news - Cherished - both my pregnancies did not involve anything noteworthy until after 6 weeks except for a bit of excitement from DP about upper body burgeoning (he cracks me up)

Just a quick one in between marking - can't believe how excited the kids are at school about the possibility of swine flu - Yay Team

Flowerchild - hope you are recuperating well!

    to everyone

Thanks erybery and Karen van, I guess the only thing I have to compare to is my last pg (even though it ended badly) and I can't hlep but worry... dh says not to worry but bloody hell it is nearly impossible... I think I would be ok if I just stayed tired but now I feel great, I even did another workout today.... I just feel like crying my head off this is insane having to wait to find out if everything is ok

when are you having an ultrasound cherished? that may help ease the anxiety. Have you had some regular HCG blood tests to see if your levels are rising ok? I was going to the doc every 4-7 days for HCG bts as this helped me through the first few weeks till I had my ultrasound at 7 weeks.

Hi ervbery... I was just going back through our old Belly buddy thread and saw when we 1st met far out I was so nieve I wanted to have a look at when I was first actually sick from ms ( I knew I posted it in our thread) because all I have is my ff chart and from that cycle it shows nausea from 6DPO and sore bbs from 12 DPO... So I was wondering when I actually was sick... I'm happy to say that the 1st time I acutally vomited was at 6 weeks 4 days! So I guess I am worrying over nothing!!! I just remember feeling sick right from 6dpo.... Not that it means much as I've been told over and over again that each pregnancy is different! ("get it into your head cherished".... the crazy lady says while banging her head against the brick wall talking to herself) My scan is in 3 weeks, Mon June 22nd, I think I'll go to the dr next wed and get a BT just to calm me down...

cherished - Don't know if you have checked out the last thread or not I posted most of this there, but I never had any symptoms until 6 wks (this pg) and 7 wks (DD). All I had with DD was no AF until M/S reared its ugly head as soon as I had the BT at 7 wks. If you are worried definitely get another BT to see how your levels have risen since last time just to ease your mind.

Also I had my first scan at 6w6d (had some spotting) and saw a HB externally, maybe you could convince your dr to bring yours forward a week? Although a lot won't if they don't have the capability to do an internal if they can't find anything externally (if that makes sense!!) but you never know if you don't ask - my ob has been very flexible in his efforts to ease my worries.

Take it easy, and try not to compare pregnancies!

Flowerchild I get a retest on the 9th.

Megamums I am giggling at the thought of your DD..... hehehe I think I want to share one with someone. Really being a penny pincher at the moment with the upcomming 'out of work'

Karen van I think I feel the same, we have a girl and boy name anyway

Hmmm am I imagining things. when I lay awake at night I swear I can hear another heartbeat? I know it's too early but it is there. Maybe I'm still in hyper mode. My Blood Pressure was quite low yesterday for me 92/74. usually 125/80 or so.. My GP was so excited at writing the first 2010 baby due date. I have been all day.

Dam DP was too loud on the phone yesterday when I rang him and his car pooling buddy heard him say 6 weeks. grrrr so the cat is creaping out of the bag............ I guess Dp needs someone to talk too. I have told one of my mates who has just had a baby through donor sperm. So it's fair, but he's been told to zip it. at least until 12 weeks (I'd prefer 16)

Also I'm feeling fat only one pair of pants fits. still going to the gym but I felt like being sick this morning and didn't really push it.

Just wanted to quickly say a cheer of "yay" for hayles and Greenslw. What a relief for both of you.
Hopefully your pg's continue to progress smoothly

Cherished - i agree with the others about having your HCG checked. I have had mine done twice weekly for the last few pg's and it certainly helped get me through until scan time

Just a quick one - very excited to see ticker has kick started again and is moving along - oh lord - I'm going to be 6 months on Saturday - where the heck did most of my second trimester go and if that was my peak energy load for this pregnancy I am in so-ooo-ooo much trouble with the coming third trimester

Cherished - you should see me on a day when I don't think I have felt the baby move - seriously - it has been a long journey to some degree of confidence - I think I cried when I saw a heartbeat on my 7 wk scan (I never got to see one when we lost Marley last year) and then at 16 weeks I finally heard the heartbeat at the GP's before the 20 wk scan with bub - it has been very hard in between to keep away the doubts and that nagging little voice which doesn't want to trust my body anymore... But as you say - it is that mantra of honouring each pregnancy in its own right that you just have to keep reinforcing for sanity...

I was trying to read a book last night in bed and it actually lifted when the baby kicked upwards in my stomach - energetic little tacker - I think I'm getting a preview of what my ability will be to find a quiet moment very soon in the future

Anyway - immersed in the joys of Hitler at the moment - lord I love marking...

    Great week to all

    Hi Ladies
Cherished - Just wanted to let you know that i worried like mad about lack of m/s at the beginning as had it awful with DD, didn't start until 7 - 8 weeks and not as bad.

Karen - Know what you mean about worrying about movement, have been feeling him kick a lot harder this past week.

Will catch up with more persies soon having a tough week with headaches and sickness again, has anyone else had it return after 20 weeks? At hospital for results of doppler scan wed afternoon.

Cherished Don't worry. I think we all know what it's like to analyse every tiny symptom (or lack of) for something to give us hope.

Hayles Yay!!!! I'm glad your scan went so well. xoxo

Megsmum What a cool way to lose the pg kilos (the wii) and your daughter sounds so adorable. But surely you're not thinking of shedding pounds now? That's something to worry about after pg, and I'm not going to listen to anyone who says differently. la la la *sticks-head-in-sand*

Greenslw That is a HCG brilliant result!!! I'm really happy for you.

Karan Van Yay on reaching the third tri!! You're on the home strech, or rather your little one is. Glad he/she is an energetic one and keeping you sane with lots of movement.

Chappas No good about the headaches & sickness. Hope you feel better soon.

AFM I started my new job this week and no one noticed my bump. Life is just too good for me today. I just can't believe it. We told our family & emailed our closest friends on the weekend and got some really touching replies. My new job is waaaaay less demanding than the one I quit. It is a lot closer to home and I don't have to lung a heavy laptop around for it, so it means I can sleep in, get home earlier and not be carrying so much stuff. And Bump is progressing. All we need now is a job for DH and an extra room for the bub. Aside from that, everything just seems to have fallen into place. You could knock me over with a feather. The sun's even out in London :O

But oddly I still have nightmares where I am m/c, and it takes me a moment to remember that everything is still good in the mornings.

The Moderation team here at Belly Belly have compiled some signature guidelines for use in the Miscarriage and Loss and Long Term Trying To Conceive Forums. These guidelines are in an effort to be as sensitive as possible to those in these forums.
These guidelines are in effect immediately and are for all threads in the said forums with the exception of the Pregnancy and Parenting threads of these forums.

In the Miscarriage & Loss threads links to your child(ren) website that fall within our guidelines listed HERE are permitted.
    * In the LT TTC forums links to your child(ren)'s website are not permitted.
    * The following tickers are allowed - TTC Tickers without photos of babies, weight loss, christmas countdown tickers are the only tickers admissable in the said forums} - with the exception being the parenting and pregnancy threads of the above forums.

If you have another ticker or a signature that does not comply with the above guidelines you will be required to turn it off prior to posting.

To disable your signature simply untick the box "show your signature" - you will find this if you scroll down below the text box you post in.

For members who find all signatures/avatars confronting you can disable them across the board via the User profile page and under Edit Options you can tick if you want to see avatars/images/signatures etc.

We understand this can be difficult to remember at times but we ask that you get in the habit of doing this so we can be sensitive to posters in these forums. If you do not remove your ticker it will be edited out. Repeatedly dismissing these guidelines will incur an infraction. For more on infractions see HERE .

Most "older" members are aware that we have had similar policies for a long time now on Belly Belly - however with many new members we feel it's important to set guidelines.

Please be mindful of this when replying to all posts in the Miscarriage & Loss & in the Long Term Trying to Conceive forums.

As with all decisions made by the Administration and Moderating team - this is a united decision. We ask that members gracefully accept this as a rule of our community. Debating with regard to this on the boards will be infracted & posts removed - we ask that members step outside their circle and accept that many find pregnancy and baby tickers upsetting after loss. Those that disagree are by far in the minority.

Thankyou for your consideration & understanding.
    The Belly Belly Moderation Team.

First up, I just wanted to wish Jenushka all the very best, just think this time tomorrow hopefully you will be holding your little one! You deserve it hun and hope all goes well for you.

pash - Nope not trying to lose weight at all so you can take your head safely out of the sand LOL! At least not until after the bub is born, and even then honestly I have never really worried about my weight because I'm fortunate enough to be one of those people who don't put on weight very easily. Because I'm a diabetic though, a bit of gentle exercise (whether pg or not) is very beneficial to my BSLs, so the Wii is excellent for that. There's no way I would put my DD or the new bub in one of those gym child minding centres while I went and did an gym class *shudders* So glad the new job is good and no one has noticed your bump! That is great that life is so good for you enjoy every moment of it!

chappas - Sorry to hear you have been not well again I hope the hospital can find a reason for it that can be fixed

Karen Van - Glad the ticker is working again!

Greenslw - She's a real little character my DD LOL But the Wii Fit is good - hope you can find someone to share or convince yourself to part with the money! Hope you can also manage to keep that cat in the bag now until 12 weeks, I know how you feel - I wasn't keen to tell anyone before 12 weeks this time.

Flowerchild - Thanks for that And I'm right in reading that we don't need to disable our avatars? That if they trouble other members they can elect to not view them themselves?

A big hi to everyone else - Meredith, WTH, cherished, erybery and anyone else I have missed because I'm too lazy to go back through the last thread

AFM, had my ob visit this afternoon and all is good Heard the lovely HB and have booked in for my 32 week growth scan and cord blood flow check - tomorrow afternoon!! It was the only appt they had and my ob was happy for me to have it a week early because I'm scheduled for another one at 36 weeks. I'm so excited to be getting a look at bub again, hopefully we might find out for sure if it really is a girl and DD will get to come along and see her little sibling too - I can't wait!

Awwwwwww WTH and Megsmum - thank you!!! You are such sweethearts

I'm heading off to the hospital in a few hours and am not too nervous (yet)- just feels incredibly surreal. I am really really keen to meet my little munchkin and hoping that everything goes well. Although I should have spent today resting I have been cleaning the house like a woman possessed!!

Ob will start the induction process tonight around 8pm after a bit of monitoring first so you never know - she could end up being a 3 June bub...

Hello to pash, chappas, karen, meredith, greenslw, cherished, erybery, babymiracles, tam, hannah, mel (always thinking of you hun - hope you're doing ok) and anyone else I may have missed - this has become a wonderful thread filled with so much support and it's all down to you ladies. Can't thank you enough for the support you gave in ttcaml as well as here

Aaargh - will get myself a bit teary if I'm not careful! Better go wipe down some windowsills and door handles before it's too late

Big love, hugs, and to all

    xx
