A little more relaxed today - my day off p/t with DD today!
Ecstatic to hear about Jenushka's birth and the arrival of Miss Lila - glad to see everything went so well!
Chappas - no consolations here - but having thrown up this morning I can offer a bit of reassurance that it is not necessarily a sign of something wrong - have had feral m/s both pgs now and can remember with first one - still had periodic m/s from time to time everytime there was a surge or shift in hormone levels, if I bent over while eating or too soon after eating (compressing what was already a very short torso with a piano accordian effect going on anyway with bub inside!) or if the toothbrush strayed too far back into my throat too soon after eating in that frantic morning rush for work... I still get really nauseous when I get overtired with the juggling act of modern life - so I don't know - maybe I am just more susceptible to m/s than others??? Most days it is all cool - did get a small return in the last couple of weeks before DD was born but again it was sporadic thankfully! Good news is - I am very efficient at it and have developed a very karmic attitude to the whole process.
Deejoy17 - sorry to hear about such bouts of illness in the last part of your pg when you are just trying to get into the zone - understand about little ones and their love of 'bringing things home' - think I would prefer puppies though... I hope the winter bugs can stave off long enought for you to be able to dismiss them. Good luck with everything...
Megsmum - with all the effort you have put in to manage your condition - I am pleased to see it is paying off for you - the scan of your little girl sounded spot on and I am pleased that all of the indicators are good for you - Congratulations!!!
MeredithD - congratulations on your little girl!!! I have RSI from crossed fingers for you and have no intention of changing that atitude anytime soon. Is it just me or do we seem to have a bounty of girls at the moment on the thread????
WTH - I was sorry to see you had a scare sweeting - I am glad your Ob was supportive and able to reassure you. You have such a positive situation of people (yourself included) keeping an eye on things.
Pash, Greenslw - lovely to hear your good news - may it just keep coming!!!
Cherished1 - I hope you can reach a stage soon where you can feel comfortable with your pg
Hope you have a good week erybery!
Hope HannahD, Easha, babymiracles, smilanatu, mollycat, Possums, buliej and Teagz that you are all going well!
AFM - theoretically finish up teaching on July 13 - can't bloody come soon enough I think! As this is my final pg given two is enough in our case - I am trying to really scavenge some time to just enjoy time with DD before bub comes and to actually have enough space (sans everything that goes on in a day) to really connect with this pg and appreciate it as in my case, this is it.
