Forshelby- Wishing you luck on this trip lol, you need it. And yeah it is going so fast, I just want the next to weeks to hurry past as well so I can feel safe.

Chesire- She be keeping him safe.

WannabeMum- Congrats on the positive scan

Pash- Even with bub kicking around heaps and the ultrasounds, i still feel the same. I think it is the ultrasounds that actually make me believe that there is a baby in there.

Tegam- I hope their stay is short and not too troublesome.

Ferrals- Yays on bub going in her room. Now you can all sleep more peacefully

Cheezel- This pregnancy has been my worse ever for M/S. I keep a bucket next to my bed, next to my couch and another in my car lol. I hate it when I forget. Has gotten a bit better now but I'm also dealing with it a lot better. It gets easier to deal with

AFM- Come on 24weeks! With my leaky issue and then with bub being so quiet for a few days, I just want to get through the next two weeks already so that if anything else goes wrong, they can actually do something, like if I get a more serious leak next time. I know chances of something going wrong is little and I think I'll hit the 13th Sept, but JIC I want to know that they will at least try and help my baby, rather than treating it just as a fetus.

I hope everyone had a great Easter. Our time off was quiet but that was nice too. DD did an Easter egg hunt with her cousins but the next in age there on the day was 13 so they all let her get the eggs and she was stuffed to the brim by the end of the day.

Sadly more bleeding this weekend. Only the tiniest amount and obviously very old blood but it just fills me with dread. I broke down to DH last night and said I didn't think I could take the stress anymore. I'm not even half way and I can't cope. I feel like such a crap Mum to DD as all I want to do is lie very still in the bed so nothing goes wrong. I'm feeling some flutters which help to ease my mind but I can't be sure I am really feeling baby move just yet.

IM- You are the right gestation for those flutters to be baby I hope there is no more spotting for you. Mine cleared up around the 20week mark if that helps at all

Thanks Damprye, that's a big help to hear that. I know what you mean about getting to 24 weeks. They told me the same thing at the Emergency Room. Until I get to that stage there isn't really a lot they can do to help the baby.

I find myself wondering what the point of going in. There is the whole "better to be safe than sorry" but really what are they going to do if it is sorry? Trying to keep positive though cos bub is still alive and kicking

Forshelby-I put ella down at 8-8:30 and i go to bed at 9:30 she doesnt wake until 12:30 so i get 3 hours there then she is back in bed at 1am and wakes around 4:30 so another 3 or so hours there then she goes back to sleep until 7:30 so another 2 hours there i am getting about 8 hours but broken sleep and sometimes she will take a bit longer to fall back off to sleep so i have to get up and down a few times but i am sleeping better now she is in her own room all the little noises that use to wake me i can hardly hear and i hear ya on not wanting to get out of bed cause its cold but Ella is so noisey i had no choice.
Great to hear axels little feet are looking good and he wont need surgery.
Regarding the hospital drama i wont put in a complaint about my hospital as i have had exceptional treatment there with all 5 of my kids i have only had a problem with a midwife deleting Abbi's pictures after she was born and taken to westmead for her autopsy so i couldnt get any more and with Ella the specialist's who did my c section were awesome i could not fault one thing i was treated very carefully being a high risk it was just a human error with reading the handwriting of the doctors so i cant blame the hospital for a nurses poor judgement which led to my not being given pain relief i said i was not happy what if i had been given the wrong medication they need to write clearly or even print their notes not scribble so then there would be no miscomunication.
Anyway having a c section is just horrible i have hated the weeks of being sore and feeling really unattractive with a huge eyelid as i call it for a scar so i am glad ella was my last bub.

    Cheshire-17 weeks almost halfway.

Damprye-22 weeks past the halfway mark it will go fast now.

India'smum-wow almost 17 weeks that is great this is a healthy bub i just have a feeling everything will be fine.

I was told when i was pregnant if any problems before 20 weeks go to emergency and if over 20 weeks go to maternity so i guess they do nothing before 20 weeks and try to save bub after 20 weeks.

Ferrals- You go to Maternity at 20 weeks so they can can put you on bed rest up there and also if it is too late, you will likely have to give birth. Until they are 24 weeks though, they will not do anything to sustain bubs life if it is born. Also you get a birth certificate over 20weeks.

India's mum - hugs sweetie - it is very hard being pregnant after loss and even harder when you're confronted with bleeding, even if it's old. Sweetie, I'd go in if you're worried. I know it's a hassle, but it just means that even if the news is heartbreaking, you can be assessed to make sure that your health is not at risk. Good work on the flutters! That is awesome.

Reet - OMG, holding my breath... sorry meant to finish this, but little fingers got to the keyboard first. Congratulations on the arrival of your darling precious girl! Well done and enjoy the babymoon.

Dampyre - heartbreakingly true..... you also get a death certificate after 20 weeks... That is the one bit of mail you don't really want to get. Do you remember when you had really bad m/s with with pregnancy?

Ferrals - OMG - you are getting so much sleep! I can't believe it. That is just so amazing. We had a rough night here last night, H was up every 2 hours and awake for 1 hour and 50 mins... so only 10 mins "sleeping". About 4am she had been asleep for maybe 30 mins but then did the most massive series of farts and then nappy explosion. No way could I leave her in that mess..... it was so loud it woke DH up. There has to be a funny moment in there somewhere. Is your fam over the gastro?

Forshelby - glad Axel doesn't need surgery! You are doing a great job as a mummy. I feel bad today - I was "reasoning" with a screaming baby, and then realised what I should do is just pick her up. Now? I am letting her watch tv.... it's keeping her quiet.... after 2 hours of screaming today, I just needed some quiet time. I feel so slack using the electronic babysitter... feels like a cop out. Actually she is more interested in the computer. Ah well.

Hannah is still sick - diarrhoea and it seems still some tummy pains ( aka last night's sleepless night and today's screaming). The pathology came back and no bacterial infection. Not sure what to do now. As both Dr's I've seen are not too worried. I guess just wait it out and see what happens and if it's still not better in a few days go back to the Dr? Hmm, for those of you who are mums to older ones, do you think teething causes diarrhoea? My mum says it does....

Anyway, I am thinking of you all with your precious little miracles being nutured with love.... give yourself a big belly rub from us.

ooooh - thank you for the list!! So great to see! Now I know where it all fits We'll probably be finding out, DH is adamant he wants to know, I don't. But the compromise is we find out but tell no one - you guys don't count though lol unless you want to be in the dark, in which case I'll keep it to myself!

Dory- Yeah I remember how bad the m/s was lol. It was so bad I used to be on my phone to chat to you girls so I could spend most my time camped on the toilet floor LOL. I still have m/s but it fluctuates, I still have to keep those buckets on hand though

WannabeMum- Yes, yes, we want to know

AFM- I have an annoying cold but it is so funny when I sneeze cos Bubba goes bonkers every time haha, it's like I'm being told of for waking him/her up >>

forshelby Poor lil bubba. Do you know whether the cast was painful or uncomfortable for Axel and maybe that was one of the reasons he's been unsettled? I'm glad he won't need surgery. Sucks that the maternity ward is a place of bad memories.

Cheshire I'm sorry for your loss. Each step of your pg, must be so hard missing your mum. x

Daympre Wow, 24 weeks. I am in awe, it seems so far away for me. I am sure you and bubba will be fine though. x

India's mum Any bleeding is scary, but it sounds like little kicks! Hooray! Hope you get loads more of those and the bleeding stops. x

Kellbell Congratulations! You sound so happy. It's lovely. x

AFM I have sore boobies!!! Only slightly sore, but yay!

Hi ladies! Thought I'd better pop in and let you know I'm still kickin'!
Welcome to the new ladies.. Congratulations to you all!

I'm 26 weeks tomorrow. I keep having mini panic attacks when I think of how soon August is! This pregnancy is going so fast! Hips are well and truly playing up and making life difficult, apart from that this pregnancy is a breeze.. Let's hope the baby is too! Hehe!

Congratulations to the new mummies too! Hope you're enjoying every second

Sorry about lack of persies, I only have my phone to reply on, but I'll try to keep up from now on!

    X
