damprye..yeah i was doing that before my dad got sick and loved it, but because my mum worked there and everyone knows us i wasnt ready for everyone asking me questions all the time....but i gotta go back at some point..gotta loose this weight and get back on track again...

    Hey everyone else..

Hey Alish...how are you? Im sorry to hear about you're brother..i hope he will be ok today....yeah dads ok, he is having radiation at the moment and chemo tablets. He is getting a bit tired but is ok at this stage...i have had a bit on driving my parents around to dr's and cooking and then looking after my own place etc...but i do try and rest. Lucky for me this has only just started now...i was like this from the start with DD and it was so horrible...luckily i only have 11 weeks to go.....WOW.....

I have huge pains down there at the moment!!!!!! could the head be engaging already???? or is it a bit early....all of a sudden i have all these pains down my legs and my lady parts......Maybe bubs is on a nerve down there??? i know when they did the 3d scan she was down that end......i couldnt believe this lady also said she couldnt be 100./. it was a girl because she was trying to look while my parents were in the room...and the end when my parents walked out she smiled and said girl.....so hopefully it is!!!!!

meslter - wow 11 weeks, doesnt it seem like there is no time left?
im glad he is doing ok, i bet theyre so happy youre there for them, you are doing a great job
    im going well thanks!
my bro should be fine, he had several heart ops before he was 5 and survived all of them, a pacemaker the year before last, he is a fighter.. still.... you know? cant help but worry!

is it possible for bubs to have hiccups or something yet? i had vibrations down into my lady bits yesterday arvo it was creepin me out!

MIL is coming with me to my scan today, how can i say no to her when she asks? i wanted to be able to ask the u/s person if it really is a girl, maybe i can ask her to step out of the room or something? any suggestions?

hope all you lovely ladies are well, its been quiet in here lately?

alish - I can't believe she asked! I think asking her to come in a few minutes after it starts might work, you could say "I just want to have the first look, it's weird I know but do you mind if you wait 5 mins?"

Alsih, my mum came with DD1 and DD2 for our scan and i just said that they had to wait for the first scan to be completed then family are allowed in for a looksee after that The scan people prefer less people for all the 'boring' measurements anyway! Good luck!

Alish...Yeah it could be possible its hiccups...if not im not sure what it would be........if its the big scan then yeah it takes little while because they do lots of measurements...i think mine was maybe 30/45minutes.....maybe you can ask her to wait and then you will call her when you're ready....or if she is in there i asked the lady to write ours on paper..or the 3d one..i had written a note and gave it to her before hand and she checked the sex for me and told me privately...

MY LADY BITS are really hurting me..its hard to walk and move around......what is it??? Do you think the heads engaged?

    Popping to say Hi.

Melster it's possible she's head down & putting a lot of pressure down there. I know DD2 was engaged by 29wks & i always had a lot pressure because of that.

Alish how exciting now you get to spend a small fortune on cute girls clothes
Glad you had a nice scan & everything worked out with your MIL.

Everything is going well here, Bambi is moving heaps now. Not little flutters either i can feel actual movements.
I took a belly pic today & i'm about the same size i was the girls & i'm craving the same kinda foods so maybe i will have another girl.

im not a fan of pink clothes tbh, but down here unisex clothes are very limited! and i dont want to buy things and put on her & be mistaken for a boy lol i might have to bite the bullet and go pink.....

i love feeling movements, so reassuring everything is ok
are you going to find out the sex cheshire?

oh yeah and my brother is out of surgery they didnt have to touch his mitro valve, it was perfect, they had to re build one side of his aeorta, mum said he looks like sh*t but is going well.. so happy for my big bro!

alish - I'm so happy it went well! I bet your MIL was over the moon to share it with you and you got your news privately! A little girl - congratulations!

Melster, I got a lot of pressure from about then - it could also be some pelvic instability, is it girl part pain or front of pelvis pain? Not that you can do much about either! Good luck, I hope it's not hanging around for a long time!

angelfish - that it all goes well and that DP gets happy about it! They'll be able to manage your risks, just relax and go with it

AFM I've been sick as a dog the last 36 hours, but woke up today feeling much better. I thought it was morning sickness (that I don't get), but I think it was more gastro than MS! Thank goodness it was meant to be a work day so Mum was here looking after DS (and me).
