T-hopes - what a blessing that your MIL got to meet Noah. You will always have those precious memories. I'm sure your DH has many more precious memories to share with him as he grows too. I am so happy she got to go peacefully with people she loved. Thinking of you and all your family in this so difficult time.
Melster - oats out the nose sounds awful! I hope it doesn't last long! Your little girl will keep on moving down but may not engage until closer to the date anyway - she'll arrive eventually one way or the other and you wont be able to love her more regardless of the method by which she arrives :)
Alish - the first time I experienced sex leakage was HILARIOUS. Immediately jumped out of bed, cleaned myself up - chucked a towel at DH, put a bra and breast pads on... and yeah. But that was after DS had arrived - nothing before. We're having our scan on 7 July. I think we'll find out - although I was thinking last night that maybe I can talk DH out of finding out because we got a "probable" (75% chance) girl at 12 weeks. He wants another DS, but maybe 8 weeks of thinking about a girl has made it not as scary. I'd like to have a surprise. I'm guessing his response will be no. But then, it matters more to him to find out than it does to me to have a surprise, so we'll find out. Hope once bubs moves a little bit that pressure will ease a little! It's scary isn't it! But fun. I'm sure your Ob will tell you when to make your next appointments for, lol.
Thanks for the good wishes girls - I'm feeling 100% again today thank goodness. Sleep in this morning, now DH has taken DS swimming with a mate and his little boy (same age), a bit of a boy bonding session I think. So after I shut the computer down I am getting out a good book and getting some me time in. Bugger the housework!

T-hopes: So sorry to hear about your MIL. Very sad for your family. Glad though that she at least got to meet Noah and treasure him for a little while. Will be thinking of you this week. I'm sure it will be very emotional for all.
Melster: oh you poor thing. feeling sick does not sound fun at all. I'll be counting down with you will bubs arrives.
WBM: Sorry to hear you've had the vommies too. Not fun at all. Glad you feel better today and can enjoy some 'me time'.
Alish: yes, i can definitely relate to feeling uncomfortable sitting down. For me it's in the office but it must be a similar issue in the car. Oh and leakage! The joys. I must say that one hasn't happened to me yet (not before birthing anyway) but i hear it's pretty common.
Cheshire: I have to agree: being kicked in the cervix is uncomfortable and the wierdest sensation. Makes me quite squirmy being tickled from the inside! Oh, and as for what i'll do when i finish work: plenty to do. Have some things to fix around the house and need to organise room for the baby (currently our spare room/dumping ground) and hunt out all my baby stuff from DD (well the gender neutral 0000 stuff anyway cos we don't know the gender) as well as organise a place for baby to sleep. We have a cot but think we'll keep baby in with us this time which we didn't do with DD (we lived in a small place when we had her and she slept in her own room in cot...3metres away!) So i want to get a bassinette i think, but not buy one cos we'll only use it for a few weeks. Does anyone know if you can hire that sort of thing?
AFM: Not feeling too bad. Cold has been mild so far thank goodness. And, saw my OB: Baby is head down now, Yay! Went to the movies this week and baby decided it was a good time to party: seriously the most movement i've ever felt in one session. Very funny. On a less funny note, i fell over this week (for the first time since childhood i swear!) Slipped in the street. Very undignified but no one saw. Lucky I fell to the side and didn't bang my tummy. (It was like a baseball player going for a home run and sliding into home base!) Grazed arm, hand and knee, and my arm is sore today but baby happily kicking so s/he's ok.

I've got another headcold :(
Had some bleeding yesterday so went to the hospital & Bambi is fine. They don't know why i had the bleed but as long as i don't get any contractions then i've just got to rest.
Which would be way easier if i didn't have 2 kids to look after, but it's only spotting now & she is still moving around heaps :)
Hope everyone else is doing well, Mel how are you feeling?
-
im glad everything is ok cheshire...
yeah im ok...counting down the days....stomach is pretty sore at the mo and movements are hurting. hb is defiantly the killer........the birth and pregnancy fill up my thoughts each and every second lol lol

OMG Alish, Melstar, Possum, Cheshire, India's Mum (and Ive forgotton a few) how did you all get so pregnant in those few weeks I have been gone lol.
T-Hopes I am so sorry to hear about your MIL. I am thinking of you, your DH and Noah. I'm so pleased she got to meet Noah. I remember at one stage it looking like that might not have happened.

-
Hey mildez and cheshire, how are you?
Thopes im sorry to hear about you're mother inlaw..hope you're all doing ok..
How is everyone else?
ATM....i have been throwing up every morning...YUCK.....and my god does my stomach hurt...its hard to explain..it doesnt come and go..its like a really bad ache and pain..like my stomach is really tight and in constant pain...its real hard to describe..its like a constant ache rather than a contraction coming and going...what do you think it is? baby has been moving but slower..dont think there is much room..i feel a bit vague as well
-
Mel could just be your muscles. If your worried talk to your Ob about it.
I hope your able to get some relief soon
-
i have had diareaha before...i have vomited...i feel cold....period pain. A little back pain. Stomach constantly sore and hard and really annoying me it also hurts up the top as well....i just dont feel well......do u think its just pre labour? The pains arent coming and going and increasing like they say contractions do..but im wondering if i am at the start...i had a bit of leakage when i vomited as well so i dont know if that was fluid or wee lol lol............this guessing game is not fun.......they say u will just know when ur in labour....i feel like things are defiantly getting going but whether that means soon or in a couple weeks im not sure.....
-
Melster, it sounds like you really don't feel well. It might be worth a visit to your Dr just to get a check up and some reassurance. Could even be a virus i guess? Let us know how you go...
Cheshire: glad everything is ok. Bleeding is always scary. Glad your little one is moving around lots to reassure you.
Mildez: nice to hear from you. I hope J is well again. It seems like ages waiting for people to have their babies and then suddenly that baby is 2 or 3 months old and i think "Where did the time go?!" Same with pregnancies i think. Everyone else's always seems to go faster than your own though!
Speaking of which...
Angelfish: are you 12 weeks already!!! incredible!
Wannabemum: Hi, hope you are having a good week?
Alish: are you still around? Feels like a while since you posted...but that could be my baby brain! How's the house building going?
-
Melster~ i would get checked out to be sure.
t`hopes ~i am so sorry to hear about your mother in law
possium magic~ yes 12 going on 13 i truly cant believe it but i think what for me making the time fly is having honor taking up all my time. She is truely a good baby hardly ever crys and very easy. I made her homade baby food yesterday and she loved it it was just peaches but she loved it better then the jarred stuff i cant wait for fall here so that i can make some and freze it at least i know what is going into it .
AFM~ i have another dr appointment on thursday to make sure that everything is ok and listen to the hb. I am going to try to talk the dr into having another us in a couple of weeks. I miss my other drs if they were not three hours away i would so be back with them
-

possum - im still around! reading more than posting atm!
as for the house - its not lol.. we need a bit more money before we can start but its not too far away! we wont be in before the baby is born unfortunately! such is life -
how are you? do you still have a cold?
melster - you poor thing :( go and see your doc, at least they can shed some light on labour vs virus
cheshire - how scary - glad everything is ok!
wbm - oh my god how funny! haha i definatly would never get lovin again if that happened to me! im still unsure as to whether or not he will be in the delivery room with me! he cant even hand me a panty liner let alone see what happens when you give birth!
ohh yay a girl :) girls are dominating in my belly buddies thread too!
not much to report here, other than im not sure if i still have my cold or if its just that stuffy blocked nose some pregnant people supposibly get! still snoring like a trooper, just paying dh back for 4 + years of snoring ;)
-
Mel if you really feel that unwell get checked out.
I was 34wks pregnant with DD2 & i had similar symptoms, i put it down to pre labour but because K wasn't moving i went to hossy to get checked out.
Long story short i had a bug & ended up severely dehydrated & almost need an emergency c-section as her heart rate was up at 220 & wouldn't below 200 for hours.
In the end it took a whole day to get her back to normal.
I'm not saying this will happen to you as i was really sick towards the end, but if you feel something isn't right then go get checked out.
You'll feel so much better knowing everything is ok
-
Mel, I agree with the girls - it might be pre-labour, or it might be a bug. Better to be safe than sorry and get yourself checked out. I hope things at home have settled so there's no extra stress there
PM - all good here baby-wise. Still waiting for a headache whose duration is now measured in weeks to go away, although on that front I've woken up feeling ok today, not the pain I had yesterday when I had to leave work. But bubs is growing away, getting lots of movement now - some big thumpers last night which was lovely.
alish - I hope DH can be there in the delivery room if you want him there. FWIW, my DH did NOT want to be there for DS, but he was, and came into theatre for the emergency c/s too (didn't look though). He was so glad to be there for the birth of his son, even if he felt helpless and awful when I was in pain.
angel - glad everything's going well for you :) I hope your new doctors are as good as your old ones.

Morning ladies..
I dont know why i hesitate to call the ob or the midwives, i know he wouldnt care and its better to be safer than sorry.....
I had dinner last night and went to be and my stomach relaxed.....been having terrible sleeps tho.....feels like i havent been sleeping at all........everything hurts and aches and im getting restless legs again....so so annoying..........I have been feeling sick in the mornings and vomiting but i think thats morning sickness again as its been over a week now and all the hormones..i havent been to the toilet again so thats good. my stomachs hard and sore again this morning, but im starting to wonder if its the baby having no room and my stomach just not coping...maybes its the way the baby is laying...not sure if she is still posterior or not..my belly is a different shape tho.....ill keep an eye on everything today. Dont think its gastro or anything....guess i will just wait it out and if it gets worse ill call.....maybe everything is just getting ready
Wannabe..thanks
Cheshire...thanks..yeah i will defiantly keep an eye on it today and ring if it gets worse
Alish....ha ha..i used to wake myself up snoring while pregnant with DD....LOL LOL...havent been as bad with this one tho
PM..how are oyu going?
ATM...its my last day at work today :D and having a work lunch friday so that will be nice....its kinda strange to think i wont be working for a year.....and that i will have a another baby soon...im a little scared i think..........................just have to teach this girl today and thats it..which is pretty boring because i show her and then she will do it and i sit staring LOL LOL...im going to hate not having my computer though and using my mobile..
Ill let everyone know my progress with the baby and labour through my phone.....
-
Morning ladies...
I'm hoping I can join in here.
Finally pregnant after a late loss 4 years ago, and 2 confirmed chemical pregnancies in 6 months.
I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow. Very nervous but all the scans I've had suggest everything is going along fine. Ive had the occasional spot of blood and pains so bit frightened, although they know that the bleed wasn't caused by bubs. Just an irritable soft cervix. (As bleeding happens after internal exams and transvaginal ultrasounds)
Hope everyone else is going great I will read back and then do persies once I've caught up! :) xx
Sent from my iPhone (via Tapatalk) so please forgive the spelling mistakes...

Congrats on your pregnancy LD :)
Mel how you feeling? Hope your getting some rest.
