Oh ferrals, i cant believe that you have another huge stress to face now! Can your DH sue the man after he is found not guilty for his loss of wages for these weeks? Infact maybe if you started that claim now the guy would think about dropping the charge??

Oh what cr-p ferrals. Thats a good idea of Tegams although can you do that? Of to work. I have a monster head ache day 5now so will check my BP. No protein in my pee so thats good. Too early to be having trouble with that sort of thing but apparently with the funny placenta thing I have going on I'm at risk of PET. Only 6days to wait until I see my Ob and get the official results of my scan.

    Happy 12weeks T-Hopes woohoo.

Tegam-it is not possible we cant afford a lawyer and his company is suppose to be paying for the lawyer to fight this case but so far they havent paid a thing and the lawyer has contacted us saying no money has been paid as yet and everytime DH rings his bosses they just pass the buck to the other boss or dont answer their phone and we have an evidence hearing on the 8th next week with no lawyer so i am freaking and the witnesses have still not provided their statements so basicly poor DH will turn up to court with no lawyer no witness statements and he wont be allowed access to the evidence without a lawyer so he is screwed if his company doesnt pull their finger out.

Mildez-I wish we could do what tegam said but at the end of the day DH did clock him one but he needs to prove he was assulted with the spitting in the face and that this little bastard abused and threatened all the guards he has witnesses but they are to frigen lazy to type out a statement.

T-Hopes-well done on the 12 weeks

AFM-I am 23 weeks today and have a migraine from worry.

Reet....thats fantastic you can feel the baby...its so exciting and im only seven weeks and i have popped out LOL..im already finding it hard to hide....wonder why some people pop out and others dont. Its my stomach too and not just fat...

    Forshelby..thanks

Tegam..its totally understandable you feel that way when you have alot going on and kids to look after. Its defiantly not like the first one....I hope everything goes well with you're scan so you can feel some peace...maybe try and do something nice and relaxing for yourself

Angelfish..im glad everything is ok..i was always measuring larger, they kept telling me id have a 10 pounder..but she was only 7.11

Stoked...good luck for friday..i hope everything goes well and you're little one is ok!!

Ferrals.....WOW...my heart goes out too you. If it were me and you're partner is being ignored i would get him to actually go into the work place and demand to see someone so that cant fob him of on the phone and dont take no for an answer. Does he have any leave pay or sick pay he can take? Does he have a health and safety officer or someone that handles staff issues??? Maybe he should just go to the top manager.

He needs to tell the lawyer that he has to chase it up with the company not him, did the company organise the lawyer? then he should know that the company has to pay for it. As far as i knew lawyers got paid at the end, what monies is he requesting already? If worst case you could call up and get a govt lawyer....for the life of me i cant remember what there called..ill email back when i remember. Also alot of lawyers have a no win, no pay policy......thats why i am shocked the lawyer is asking for money already...we went through a similar situation with hubby but a bit different ....except we were fighting for 4 years and been through hell and back so if you need to chat let me know.
Can he get a temp job else were doing something else to get you through...or do you have someone that could lend you money just to help you through?

ATM.....well i have crazy ms...boy do i feel ill...so much worse than with DD.....so if i have morning sickness like this would it likely the baby would be alive and ok...or is there still a chance its not....if the baby wasnt ok i would loose some of the hormones wouldnt i? does it happen quiet quickly? still getting a little discharge but its only a small amount and brownish.....i feel like my tummy is smaller which is stressing me out a bit...im defiantly hungry though.....cant wait for my yummy hot chicken roll......mmmmmmmmm

Holey Moley you lot are hard to keep up with!

Reet - most defs on the raspberry leaf tea! I am SO over the stuff! I have run out and was meant to get some on the way home from the hospy today, but it was raining, and I was a bit meh, so will see if DH can do it on his way home from work.

dory - I have copped that about soy milk too! Actually more so about being vegan - my mum and a couple of other nasty friends have blamed the molar pregnancy on my vegan diet. It IS linked to a low protein diet, but the kind of low protein diet where you're subsisting on rice, developing nation style. But nobody wants to hear that, they want to blame. Of course nobody has questioned DH's immune-suppressant medication - it had to be MY fault somehow. Oddly, his family have never suggested that, only mine.

Tegam - I understand you putting your vent in your buddies thread. I had a really awesome buddies thread like that. I say had because once mummyof4's little guy is out (today, so he's probably already here) I am the only one left! And I don't know if this is valid, I don't want to bring anyone down, but sometimes I do like to bring a different perspective to people who maybe don't see things like us. Like for me, people loved to tell me how great it was that my hCG levels were high - but after a molar, that's actually not very reassuring at all.

forshelby - thanks for the lols! You probably didn't mean to be funny, but being a hit with the kiddies - ! Your scan will be fun - it's a chance to have a sneaky peek at that little cutie you're brewing, and they really are lovely up at the hospy. You'll hardly have to deal with Brisbane - the Mater is so close to the freeway exit, and I think the parking's not too bad, but it is exxy.

angel - this baby was 5 pounds 5 (whatever that is - I do metric!) at 33 weeks, if that helps.

stoked - good luck with your betas! Fingers crossed for you!

OK, my morning! Went up to the hospy, everyone kept saying I was "overdue" which kind of annoyed me, but most stuff annoys me at the moment! Anyway, my regular midwife wasn't there, so that kind of threw me, but the one I saw was very lovely and happy to go with what I want. I guess it was kind of hard for her, not really knowing me, and trying to gauge what I would want. So I am going in on Monday for another checkup, then Wednesday night I have an induction booked, if baby doesn't make an entrance by then. And she did a S & S today, see what that does.

How awesome is this rain? (since there's so many Qldrs!)

ferrals - hope your headache settles down. I have heeeeeaps of hot chocolate here, would love to share!

    rains lovely!

Did she get much gunk on her hand doing the S&S? did it hurt? When i had one with DS i looked at her hand and asked if that was normal? She said yes and it didnt hurt at all. I had a baby the next day?

Sad about your belly buddies but someone has to be last i guess.

Yes its dumb comments like the congrats on high HCG that gets me. Mine was everyone was over the moon to hear i had an induction date at 36weeks. Nothing about small baby or low fluid or the fact i wanted a homebirth!!!

    Ah we have each other!

Melster-its criminal law so there is not a no win no pay situation here i wish there was and we have to pay for the 1st consult and disbursments for him just to show his face and ask the other side for all their evidence.
My DH works for a sercurity company that only hires permanant casuals at a high rate of pay so no sick pay or holidays they only cover compo ect.
And he has been dealing with the owners of the company there is 3 of them and they are friends of DH he has known them for years and they still dont seem to care.
We rang legal aid and because it's so close to xmas they said put in an application but we wont here from them before xmas so they were no help.
And DH is trying to get another job doing something different but so far it the same story SORRY WE ARE NOT HIREING OVER XMAS or the employment agencies have said most companies lay people off over xmas or close down for a few weeks so try again after xmas.
Believe me we have rang every one and got the same answer but we will try again tomorrow.

Audax-I felt that way getting pregnant like i was the last one i hope it's not to much longer for you and the S&S works tonight.

Ferrals- Man O man. That sux!!! Big time!!! God i wish ur dhs employers wld pull their fingers out!! Every year my dh has 6-8 weeks off over xmas which is really hard but atleast we have the year to prepare for it. Its so frustrating for u guys that this has happened now at this time of the year... worst timing ever. Especially trying to look for another job. U know what really really irritates me though.. is that centrelink wont help ppl like u guys a bit more but they are happy to chuck money away to all the alcoholics out there that really dont deserve it! God u guys wld have paid way more then ur fair share in taxes over the last 20 yrs! I feel for ya.. i really hope things sort themselves out soon for u.

Forshelby- Yeah i think u shld make a lovely day out of this next scan... especially since its at the private hospital!! U didnt get a real good 20 wk scan so hopefully this ends up being a good one and u get a great look at ur bubba and some nice little pics!

Stoked- Thanks for that info on dopplers, i have heard its kinda the same thing as u/s but not as bad. I might just stick to twice a week. Hopefully i wont need it soon tho and i can just feel baby move whenever i want it too! Have u got ur results yet???

Angelfish- So happy u had a good scan! Dont worry about babys weight.. my SIL was only just telling me the other day that when she started going into labour with her son a few weeks early they told her he was 5 pounds and too little so they stopped her labour. When she had him 2 weeks later he was a 10 pound baby! I dont think its possible for the baby to put on that much weight in only a couple weeks!! Im sure they can mess up measurements sometimes. Sorry to hear of ur past experience too we are all here for u xx

Audax- Hope u got ur raspberry tea! Altho it doesnt sound like its working! How long ago did u start drinking it??

Melster- Yep m/s is definitely a great sign!!!

Tegam- Hope ur feeling a bit better today then yesterday!

AFM- I cld just lay here all day and all night waiting for my tummy to move! Its so exciting!! It was so funny..last nite before going to bed i used the doppler and straight away the baby started pushing it away! i cld actually see it move!! Dh is away at the moment so he hasnt been able to feel any of the movements yet, but by the time he gets home in 10 days they shld be stronger and more frequent so he shldnt have any problem in feeling them!
One weird this is Im finding my tummy is having 'tightenings' or BH's all day... atleast every half an hour it happens. My uterus just fully cramps up and really pops out.. if im laying down the bulge becomes like a mountain and then slowly goes back down again after a few mins! Does this last all pregnancy???

Tegam - I hope you stick around after bubby arrives too Your vent was totally understandable and not sooky at all.

Angelfish - All I can say is HUGE for you. Don't feel guilty for wanting to put that aside, what an awful time that must have been for you. That's our Dory though, always bringing us clarity Great news that bubby is doing well, and I'm so jealous you got 3d pics

Stoked - IKWYM, I think they're just bombarding me with stuff to cover themselves. I'm just going with it for now but after this next scan I think I've had enough random testing. Everything is fine, people... stop prodding me! lol. And yes, mum is an interesting character.. Good luck with your first OB appointment, yay for that!

Ferrals - You poor thing, if it's not one thing it's another giving you stress! I hope it all turns out ok, your poor DH... ugh. Don't even get me started on centrelink....... I don't know who makes up their crazy rules but yeah, ridiculous. I have my FX that some kind of miracle sorts this all out for you.

Melster - Subsequent pgs seem to make you pop out sooner than normal. I couldn't do up my pants from about week 9, but I think a lot of it was all the dagwood dogs I was eating. Mmmm... Also, ms is a good sign. When I mc'd my symptoms faded very quickly, within a week of seeing the first blood. By the end of the week I lost the baby. I really think all is going to be ok for you hun, hang in there!

Audax - Thanks for the encouragement, I hope it's a fun scan! And being a private hospital I'm hoping for a lot better service there. I'm ok with paying for parking, I just want to get a park and not have to walk blocks in the rain like at my hospital here. Sounds like you'll be having that baby in no time, how exciting... excuse me while I squeal like a little kid! About the rain, no, it's sucky and I wish it would go away lol. I've had enough!

Reet - Hooray for movements.... how great is it?! I get that tightening feeling fairly often but I can't see a difference in my tummy during. I'm pretty sure this stuff lasts the whole way through. I'm going to make the best of the scan and try to enjoy my day with DP. Now, get back to enjoying those kicks!!

AFM - The dog just peed on the floor, so DP lectures him and yells at him...... ughhhh. Ok we don't want him peeing inside, but it was on the tiles and not a big deal. Since I didn't catch him doing it I can't punish him as he won't know what it's for. But still DP insists on punishing him by not letting him inside at all tomorrow, and yelling at him, just being very aggressive with a small dog. It's not how I'd like to deal with it.

Thanks for your words of encouragement ladies you are great and i know that i have had a really rough time with stress over the last 2 years and we could really use a break and life can suck big time but we have our healthy girl growing inside me so that keeps the smile on my face and i have won my lotto of a life time so if it means we have to struggle for a while so be it my kids will never go without we will but i can live with that.

Forshelby-men they have no clue the dog has no idea what it done after the fact they need to be caught and punished when they are doing it.

Reet-the movements are awesome arent they last night DH put his hand on my belly and little miss went ballistic he laughed and said we have a soccer star in there he couldnt believe how strong her kicks are for 23 weeks.

Angelfish-i was told at 34 weeks with my 1st son he was 8 pounds already but 6 weeks later he was born 6 pounds so they only estimate.

AFM-this is DH last pay day for a while so i am going to make it count and do a big buget shop and finish the kids xmas stockings i am glad i did all the xmas shopping weeks ago.

forshelby - that is WEIRD that it is at mater private - that's just a regular old scan place, my GP offered me a referral for there but I went to the specialist place down the road. I would have thought if it were the kind of thing they were sending you all the way up her for then, it would be at MFM in the Mothers?

Reet - have been on the RLT since 30 weeks. It doesn't bring on labour, just makes second stage shorter and more efficient. Fingers crossed that it happens soon.

I am having such a dark downer of a day today. I don't know why. I think the potential of induction is hitting me and I am wondering if I'm making the right choice. I have a secret stash of chocolate in my wardrobe, so will hit that up. Mum's also arriving today, so maybe that will lift my spirits.

Ferrals - Tell me about it.. I've tried explaining that to him but he gets so 'emotional' about it...... so not the way to train a dog. The dog just cowers and looks scared, then he wonders why he isn't as cuddly the next day. Good luck with the bulk shopping, I've got my FX this is all sorted out in no time for you.

Audax - Maybe I've gotten myself confused? (easy to do these days) They just said to me it's at the 'mater hospital' but I looked up the website and there are a lot of different areas iykwim. I do have a phone number to call so I might call them later and double check exactly where I'm going! I would hope that they wouldn't send me to Brisbane if I could see a specialist here on the gc. Perhaps though because I was at the hospital, they felt the need to send me to ANOTHER hospital and not just a clinic? I don't know, I'm over trying to figure out their reasoning behind things! Enjoy your chocolate, and your visit with your mum today. DP found my chocolate stash last night so I had to share, lol.

AFM - I put up the xmas tree last night since it's too hot to do during the day, it looks great! It sure was difficult with this belly in the way, but I got it done. On a sad note, it was 24 years ago today that my dad died in a car accident. Yes, and my DP is a driver for a living, how ironic is that. Mum called me yesterday a few times and I felt guilty ignoring her what with today being such a sad day for our family, so I caved and just went along with her 'nothing happened everything is normal' routine. *sigh*

Forshelby- Its really weird, i asked if any of the girls in my bb group have been getting the tightenings and no-1 has! One girl said she did with her last pregnancy but they came alot later. But then all u girls in herw know what im talking about.. bizarre! It happened really badly last nite.. i was going to sleep and felt it all tighten and i looked down and it looked like i had like a rockmelon underneathe my skin! All around it was normal, like i cld see my hip bones etc.. just this weird lump was protruding! I wish i had my camera to try and take a photo! altho i had no clothes on so it wldnt have been the most attractive photo to show ppl! Im looking forward to seeing my ob. on monday and asking him about them and why only some ppl get it!
Awww and ur poor puppy i hate when ryan tries to discipline our dogs.. one of our girls chewed up something of his the other day and hrs later he got the item and grabbed nala and shoved it in her face and was just yelling at her.. bloody men and there little temper tantrums! I hate seeing any dog get smacked even if they do deserve it. I think they make up for the couple little bad things they do with the love they give! Im a big softie with animals Make sure u discipline ur dp if he misses the toilet and gets some wee on the floor.. hahaha
So for now things are ok with ur mum?? Maybe just avoid everything that might get u angry, dont even mention to her coming for the birth or anything anymore. Sorry to hear of ur dads anniversary

Audax-Oh i cant wait til its all happening for u. Who are we going to find out from when u do have ur bubba? Make sure they come into this thread and tell us!!

Ferrals- Hope ur budget shopping went good and u got some bargains!!

Mildez- Hows ur headache going? Hopefully its gone!

AFM- Well ive had an awful headache all day today 2 days ago it started off in my eyeballs.. iykwim? Like to move my eyes it would hurt and if i pressed on my eyes it would hurt, now today its a full throttle headache, its awful. I thought i was over this hormonal crap!
4 days til i see ob again! and 15 days til my scan.. come on time!!!

Reet - Maybe the other girls just aren't noticing the BH?? I find after I pee (tmi I know) I get a tightening sensation in my tummy but I've gotten so used to it now. I also had it happen yesterday while mopping the tiles. That was my signal I was finished. I've tried to explain to DP a million times that the dog doesn't learn from being punished harshly AFTER he's done something. He was getting all angry yesterday about the way the cat pees on clothes left on the floor, and said he didn't want the baby or baby's things peed on too. Well um, I'm not going to be leaving the baby unattended on the floor, or his/her things! (the cat likes to pee on clothes/towels because that's how she marks). I NEVER catch her doing it so I have to just clean it up and not leave stuff on the floor. I've told him this. I told him if there's nothing on the frigging floor, she won't pee there! But still he throws his clothes on the floor then complains when she does it. About mum, yeah I don't know... I'm just laying low and ignoring things from now on. I most definitely don't want her here after the birth, she's too crazy and has proven that by the way she's behaved the last few months. I've just got to accept that she isn't going to be the supportive person I need her to be and that's that. Ok I'm done rambling now, lol... about your headaches, take some panadol if it won't go away. I found I started to get headaches early in the 2nd Tri, and they just wouldn't lift until I took something. Hell, if you're feeling adventurous take it with a teeny bit of coffee, LOL. And don't forget to lie down and put something cold on your forhead. Might I reccomend some chewed undies chilled to perfection?! (read on for explaination...) Can't wait till you have your scan... wheeeee!!!!!

Ferrals - Good luck for your appointment, hun

Audax - A.K.A, The pregnantest - So excited for you hun, I bet it's nerve wracking waiting for imminent labour!

AFM - Speaking of animals misbehaving, I just went into the bedroom to discover the dog has stolen a pair of my undies which I stupidly left on the floor in the bathroom before having a shower (I know, MY FAULT) and chewed a massive hole in the crutch. I am pmsl right now...... bloody gross dog chewing on my all-day undies, RIGHT IN THE CRUTCH! I don't know when he finds time to get up to this mischief but man that's a funny one. I wonder what the obsession is with undies lately, this is the third time he's done that. I won't be telling DP or like your DH he will just shove them in his face (lol.... what an image) and yell at him which accomplishes nothing!
