    Hi ladies,

Woohoo - that's fantastic LysnDan! So so happy for you I hope that you are able to relax a little now and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

JJ - sounds like you are having a bit of a tough run with you wisdom teeth, ulcer and the queasiness. FX for wonderful BT results tomorrow.

AFM - had my first OB appt yesterday and it went really well! Had a surprise scan and bud was measuring 7w3d (according to my previous dating scan I should have been 7w2d so pretty much spot on) and had a nice strong HB of 160!!! It was soooo amazing to hear the HB So feeling a little less anxious now however am experiencing 24/7 nausea and fatigue - YUCK!

    Hope everyone is feeling ok!

    Hello lovely ladies,
Just popping in to say Hi. I am currently 4 weeks and 6 days! I am so nervous writing in here again ( I was here in August before my miscarriage). I just wanted to ask have any of you ladies had any experience with auto immune arthritis? Apparently mine flared up when I fell pregnant this time last year with my son James (who was stillborn at 27 weeks in April 11) The specialist I have been seeing thinks the immune problem is causing troubles with the implantation. I am on prednisone and clexane injections daily. Have any of you used these products? I feel pregnant (nauseous, tired etc) and my hcg level on Monday was spot on at 1550. But still having trouble relaxing at all.
I hope to chat to you all soon and get to know you all

Welcome EJ! Glad to see you here, I hope your stay is looooong and boring I was on clexane with DS, but only for the last trimester, and because I had a pulmonary embolus rather than anything else (still sucked though, because of the dose I was jabbing twice a day!). I hope you're able to relax and enjoy, but I know that's a long shot for quite a while

embo - that's awesome news re your scan! Great strong heartbeat

JJ - hope you're feeling better soon, you've had a rough trot for sure.

AFM, still pretty boring here DS did make me chase him in the shopping centre today though, that wasn't much fun at 38+ weeks! Oh well, he'd lost me and was running after someone who must have looked like Mummy.

    Hi ladies,

I guess I should pop in and say hi.....
I got my BFP a few weeks ago, but just was being a bit cautious I guess. I am due around June 22 (ish).

I have a DD, born Sept last year, and was still BF her when I fell pg - which was a surprise - not because we were not trying, but because we were trying for DD for so long and were on fertility treatment with her.
I still have to make it past 9 weeks to feel a bit more comfortable (that's when I've had my losses), but I do feel a bit calmer overall this time round (I was an absolute panic with DD the whole time).
Oh, and I had MS for about 36 out of 41 weeks with DD so in many ways, I am not looking forward to another 33 weeks of vomiting! Give me labour over pregnancy any day!

    Nice to meet you all!
I apologize in advance for not doing too many persies - I only get on to BB about once per week or so, and there is usualy WAY too much to catch up on! It's a struggle to keep up!

I had a quick scan through the posts and do want to say a couple of hellos:

HPL - hello, and I said it all in the other threads, but again

Dory - hello! nice to see you again Dory!

Sunbeam - hopefully it won't be too long before you join us here!

    cheerio for now,

CT - To sacrifice a goat? Is that literal or a reference to something? If so, I don't get it, lol *feels dumb* Hope you're having a good time anyway! Yes, I gave up coffee from trying. Every cycle, about a day before ovulation, I'd give up coffee and alcohol. Then I'd have them again once AF returned. When I got PG obviously I didn't have them anymore, so haven't had either for about 25 weeks now (as I'm 27 weeks today). I do miss it too!

    MelM - Praying this one's a keeper!

Embo - Thanks, bub is a bit more active now! Phew! Hope the m/s is kind to you! Yay for the great scan

WannabeMum - I think I experienced palpation today! My ob had a good feel of my tummy/uterus and I thought 'okay, so my tiny little pokes really are not going to harm this baby!' lol. Thanks for the website! I'll check it out

angelfish - Oooh first steps! Exciting for Honor! Scary for Mummy! lol

JJ - When did you have your wisdom teeth out? Or are they just erupting now? Hope the pain goes away soon! Hope the blood results were good too

EmilyJames - Welcome! I'm so sorry to hear about your little James xxx Praying this one is a take-home one! Sorry, I don't know anything about auto-immune arthritis.

milly5 - Hi there! Congratulations on your BFP! Sticky vibes to you!

AFM - Had my antenatal appointment again today. Everything going well HB at 138 and all is feeling well. I'm having my GD test on Friday and they've booked me in for another scan at 31 weeks just to make sure everything is growing correctly. Looking forward to that. I'm back at another antenatal in 2 weeks just to keep track. Bub is also moving around a bit more than earlier in the week, which is great!

aaaaahhhhhh geeezzz....... just wrote a big post and the internet dropped out and I lost it all !!! so I will write it again but in brief.

angelfish - i had no idea they could grow too fast !!! why do they do that?? do the develop their organs and stuff at the same rate ?? i am confused.

phebee - yes. a real goat it is Kurban Bayram here at the moment (I am in Turkey) and everyone who can afford it buys a goat, cow, or sheep to sacrifice and half of the meat is given out to less fortunate families in the nieghbourhood. Nice gesture just shame about the goat, sheep or cow.

Embo - does this change your due date ?? are we no longer due on the same day :-((((

Milly5 & EJ - congratualtions on your BFP's !!! sticky's for you !! may everything go smoothly and healthily.

AFM - not much going on here just the usual mental abuse I put myself through. Its ok. its not ok, something is wrong, why dont I have morning sickness, something is wrong. Are my breasts really bigger or is it just froim the progesterone, sonething is wrong, I cant 'feel' anything. I am so bloated I look pregnant, but I have just eaten too much these last 6 months and its finally catching up with me, I'm not pregnant just fat. somehtings wrong. Why doesnt the smell of dead animal make me feel nauseous, I'm not pregnant. somethings wrong.

i could go on for hours.........its exhausting.

Scan on Monday (if i am not commited before then).

Oh boy CT! I was the same! Always wondering why everyone else got a metallic taste, super sense of smell or a food aversion and m/s but not me. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who doesn't really get those symptoms, but it can really play with your mind in the 1st tri!

Ah! That's cool about the goat tradition, if not so cool for the goat. So does your username refer to Turkey the country then?

Sent from my iPod touch - sorry for any mistakes!

    Hi Phebee

thank god there is someone else not thowing up and peeing all the time!! I am making myself crazy ! over analysing like I do.

Turkey the country, yep. Been living here since April 2010 and we finally got the visa for my partner and flying to Oz on Xmas day!! Times in nicely with just being over the 12 week mark (FX we make it til then) so that I can tell my friends and family face to face :-))
I love it here but it has been quite difficult in regards to the hospital trips I have made this year (ruptured cyst, another cyst, preg then miscarriage then D& C etc) and they have different processes here. All this talk of 'levels' and everything goes right over my head.

oh angelfish I am sorry to hear that. I had no idea ! I am so obsessed with everything than go wrong in the beginning that I assumed once you made it so far along, it was meant to get easier and the stress part would be behind you. How many weeks do you have to go? How early is too early ?? Sorry I am so oblivious to all this.

My fingers are double crosed for you.

phee and CT - I didn't have ms or anything either. Didn't help my paranoia about more miscarriages! If I hadn't got two lines on a pee stick over and over, then seen little treasure on scan, I wouldn't have known I was pregnant!

angel - are they going to put you on some meds? Some women with GD wind up on insulin. May help control your blood sugars if they're all over the place.

Nothing to report here, getting paranoid about optimal foetal positioning (have a look on the website here if you're interested) - but that's only cos I have to have something to obsess about, looking forward to baby arriving some time in the next few weeks.

Milly5 - congrats! Good to see you too.

Emily James - that is spendiferous news my sweet.

Angel - I hope things settle down with your blood sugars. Give little Miss H a hug for me.

Jenna - good to see you here. Well done. GL with those teeth.

Not much going on here. All day sickness, not vomiting... yet. Fatigue. All the early pregnancy signs. When the nausea is bad I think, I wanted this? LOL. I did and I do. My little HB is not well and we are just about to go the to Dr. First it was the flu and now it's fevers. Hoping there is an easy solution.

I will try and do some more persies next time I am on. It's hard to keep up and remember everyone, but I will get there. Belly rubs.

Good to see some newbies in here, very sticky baby dust vibes to you!!

I am still booked for my NT scan on 18/11 but freaked out this week thinking I don't want to pay for the NT scan only to be told no bub, so I had a normal u/s and all good measuring 1 day ahead actually so have got to 11.5 weeks now, so excited and looking forward to the more accurate scan this week coming, nausea pretty well gone, still tired and not sleeping too well and tonight I am having some uncomfortableness especially on my right side down low, feeling like maybe bub is trying to move up out of the pelvic area.

I bought a doppler for home, it was only $39 on ebay, can't wait for bub to be high enough to hear him/her.

Rest up over the weekend everyone

Hey guys, sorry for not getting back sooner - my health has been horrid since I was last one. I'm feeding Princess E her puree (and she is being very demanding too!) so I'll do a quick update now and come back later for persies. The BT was a waste of time, it was replacement doctor I saw as mine was sick and he only gave me the referral for the test that says positive/negative with levels over or under 25, I was so angry!

I ended up in emergency on thursday afternoon as my wisdom teeth were playing up again (the 2 bottom ones have cavities the size of peas in them for those who were wondering what was going on with them lol they were all impacted and are still all partially impacted and the hyperremesis gravidarum I had while pregnant with DS and Princess E didn't help either) and I was out of panadeine forte (the only thing that works to get rid of the pain unfortunately) and was also there because of bad cramps and tenderness along my csec scar, no bleeding though thank god, I'm not a religious person but I was thanking whatever god/goddess or other deity there is for that! They did a bHCG and it came back with the levels being at 5240! - exactly 7 days earlier they were 176 so that was a HUGE jump, they are even higher than the doctors chart from conception says they should be, I've been working myself and DH up with the thought that it could be twins lol not a good thing to do lol

I see the oral surgeon on the 16th for assessment about my surgery to have my wisdom teeth removed, not long now I am so relieved that I finally get to see the surgeon now after 5 months of waiting and having to give up breastfeeding, but peeved that it's taken a new pregnancy to get them to start moving their butts about it.
And then the scan is the next day - on the 17th - I should be 6wks 5d then, sooo can't wait but so scared there won't be a heartbeat or there'll be twins or more as well lol

Anyway, Princess E is demanding my attention - apparently I'm not spooning the food into her quick enough lol

    I'll be back later!
