LysnDan - thanks hun xxx I do wear a teething necklace and bracelet (they are childrens ones joined together lol as DD won't wear the necklace and she likes to eat bracelets and this one is too big for her, she's inherited my dainty wrists and ankles it seems lol), have been for 4 months now, if I don't wear it the pain is even worse. The phrmacist has given me panadeine extra to take instead of the mersyndol as I'm out of panadeine as well, I've only had to take 4 and 4 paracetamol today so looks like I'll have a "good" week pain-wise.

becnxavi - thank you for sharing hun, it's good to know that things can be ok even with all of this.

Hi everyone else, and thank you to those who were thinking of me - really means a lot xxx

afm - had my ultrasound today, I didn't get to see the screen but DH did, one sac and there was a heartbeat! Butterfly Baby is measuring 3 days behind at 6wks 2d, but I have a feeling that the sonographer may have measured from a slightly wrong angle (bad I know but I've been comparing the pic with the ultrasounds from DS and DD and the spots she measured from don't look right when compared to the spots on the other scans). I'm probably just getting worried over nothing but I'm going to ask my GP for another U/S referral when I see him tomorrow as I won't be seeing my OB for another 8 weeks (14wks is the first appointment down here since I have to go through shared care with the public system) so I can get another scan next week to make sure things are still progressing right.

Anyway, I'm off for the night xxx thinking of you all!

    Hi Ladies,

Phebee - I am seeing a Dietician on Monday, I am worried about getting GD, my GP and Obs have both said it is almost a full blown conclusion as I have PCOS and insulin resistance anyway but I hate the thought of injecting myself so I am looking to get some helpful insight into food choices.

JennaJayen - I hope your tooth is a little better, must be miserable, poor thing! Also re u/s, I have had 4 already and I am only 12.5 weeks! I say it is better to have one than worry about it too much and stress yourself out, a quick check to make sure the heartbeat is still going is such a good feeling.

LysnDan - Sounds like you are having a rough trot, you are not an awful friend, you have a lot going on for yourself so don't be so hard on yourself, I hope your Dad is better, try to keep your chin up and not worry too much, as that is never good for you or the baby. xxoo

WannaBeMum - I got to make the big announcement yesterday - everyone knows now, even facebook!! It was such a great feeling and we got so many congratulations and so much great feedback and support. I announced it this way - My hubby is going to be a Daddy!...and I think it's mine! haha got so many laughs. Not long for you now, hope all is well

becnxavi - I hope all is still going well with you. Good louck with everything especially the pacemaker op, always horrible see such little ones having to go through that. xxoo

dantri - I keep feeling like mine is a boy too! Only time will tell.

    CT - Good luck overseas!

AFM - I had my NT scan yesterday. Great results Downs only 1:8666 chance so back to around the lowest you can get and even lower odds for other chromosonal problems. My husband wussed out on coming in for the scan - he was so nervous after losing the last one, poor thing and now he is kicking himself that he missed out - I think he will be itching to go to the next morphology scan in about 6 to 8 weeks especially as the sonographer did a quick 4D shot, It was so awesome, bub would not stop kicking and punching around, so weird that I could see it but can't feel it yet! We got to tell evceryone that didn't already know yesterday - I loved all their comments and if you didn't read abovce I found such a funny way to tell everyone on facebook - My hubby is going to be a Daddy!...and I think it's mine. Everyone had a good laugh. I haven't been able to find the heart beat on my home doppler yet but it could be because I am overweight - harder to get thru the fat! lol I am now sooo excited, can't believe in about 6 months our world is going to change so much! Also, TMI but don't cook mince while eating a carrot while pregnant!! I had my first ever preggers vomit last Sunday, I'm blaming the heat as well, I don't know how I am going to cope this summer!! We will have a high electricity bill I can foresee! I hope everyone else is progressing nicely!

    Hi
    I had a complete m/c after a threatened m/c in July. I'm now 5w1d :-) (my third pregnancy - dd is 20mo)
I thought I was out for the month as I had an early "period" which obviously wasn't and some early spotting.
Have my first OB appt tomorrow.

Sending lots of sticky vibes to you Mel and Rach - may your stays here be long and boring! Best sort of pregnancy really, long and boring. In fact, you can have my sticky vibes now, I don't need them any more - get out baby!

Thinking of you all, it's so lovely that so many of you in here are in early pregnancy with such good signs. The group of girls that have been here (and moved on for many of them) through my pregnancy have been a wealth of support. It is so nice to know you're not the only one paranoid about every single number, movement, spot, scan, day, week, month... Love to all of you!

angel - my Ob told me I'd be better with foot swelling/back pain etc if I could have a holiday from my toddler - or stop lifting him - then he laughed. Lol. It was much more good natured than it sounds! He was understanding the plight of the second time Mum - he has 5 kids! It's hard to take it easy, but try to relax as much as possible when she's asleep!

Went to see my OB and he warned me that being so early it will prob not show on the u/s - and it didnt. So I had another blood test to see what my hcg is doing. God I hope it's rising. I don't want to deal with My second loss in 4 months. He said if its not rising I'll need a curette. Just have to wait - friggin hate waiting!!!
