im also feeling heaps of movement i think placenta is still anterior but off to one side but even on that side i can still feel kicks! will ask in 2 weeks when i have my scan!!!
AJP, i found out yesterday my placenta is not only anterior but low lying. But i can feel bub kick quick hard down where they say the placenta is. We must just have very strong babies lol.
I had posterior placentas with #1 and #2, but was anterior with #3. Just like you I was worried about movements, as I had felt the others very early (approx 14 weeks). I had to rely on doppler and ultrasound for quite a long time. In fact when I did start feeling occasional movements, there were times when I didn't feel much at all if anything - so I was a regular at the OB seeking assurance.
You do, lucky ladies, since feeling a bit of movement, it has been hardly anything for me
BUT I dio feel some muscle spasm on the sides and when i went to my scan, it makes sense as this is where the bubba is. The tech said normal that I am not feeling movement as the baby will litterally have to kick through the placenta, mine is not as strong as yours..maybe its because she is a girl?!?!?!? Who knows, all I care about is that lil jelly bean is healthy!
Apparently have ant placenta and have had the cr*p kicked out of me for weeks, prob first felt consistently at 11weeks (and I am big so have lots of fat cushioning) #1 didn't feel until 22wks or so, #2 maybe 19wks. This one is a boy so maybe he's just tough
Have heard ant placenta = post bub, hope not, intending to vba2c and would like bub to take it easy on me ????
If anyone is interested, if you go to a Chiropractor during your pregnancy they can do something called the Webster Technique(if they are trained in it of course). It is suppose to help prevent breech and posterior babies. I'm having it done currently, going every week or 2. It doesn't hurt at all and doesn't hurt the baby either. Just google webster technique and it'll come up, have a read and see what you think.
