    Baby sitting low

So, I am 24 weeks, and bubs is sitting really low.

She likes to hang about my bikini line and rarely do I feel her kicking further up (like belly button)

I do have an anterior placenta, and carrying a bit of extra weight

But surely she should be moving in more than just one spot - specifically AWAY from my bladder?

    Sunshine is the same!

Obs says that it is because I have a mildly bicornate uterus (it is heartshaped rather than normal IYKWIM) which means that there is more room down lower and so Sunshine is just hanging out down low. He said that once room becomes a bit of an issue Sunshine will naturally move up a bit but at the moment just go with the flow.

I tried standing on my head the other day (not to be recommended) and there was a bit of movement but very quickly assumed the regular position - and gave my bladder a few "welcome home" kicks just for fun

This little bubba is doing the same thing! I had been having kicks in the bladder from 14 weeks! As the bub is growing I do feel them further up but always with the bladder kicks (arms and legs going at the same time). I was a little worried about this as DD always sat so high, but no nothing wrong, all completely normal, bub is just comfy there my OB & GP tell me. Of they're happy I'm happy

The bladder must be like a pillow to our little people! hehehe Maybe a nice chat to bubby might get it moving a little more north for you... Anything is worth a try, right?!

    Take care

Lol i totally feel the same. My bub has sat low my whole pregancy. Even still now when my uterus should be up under my ribs, bub is still all lower than my belly button, so above it just feels like jelly when i touch it.
It sucks cuz i have to go to the loo alot... but all seems to be ok, must just be really comfy down there... lol it does seem to dislike it when mummy and daddy have sexy time though lol. It tends to move slightly higher but seems to just push my tummy out further and makes it feel unbelievably stretched for the whole next day as a form of revenge lol

LOL @ Kirley64 mine is the same, the stretched feeling is weird feels like my skin is going to split!

My bubba is low also I only rarely get kicks around the belly button area. Sometimes I wonder if my uterus is growing or if he just really likes it down there?

    Dude, I hear ya!

This little one is always down low bashing away on my infected bladder! Not pleasant!

I bet we will soon be complaining (although that might not be the right word for it) that he or she is kicking us too high and getting his her legs caught in our rib cage!!

exactly the same here. I had anterior placenta the first pregnancy and don't remember that the movements were this low. This time its posterior and movements are very low (but second pregnancy). Main difference with the placenta positioning is that I am feeling a lot more movements this time but it kind of makes me feel sick I'm feeling so many and I am finding it hard to sleep.
