Clasik, I can relate to the way you are feeling. I'm an ecologist and since telling my boss about my pregnancy I have been taken off some really awesome jobs - I understand you cant have a pregnant chick doing this sort of work but I am soooo cut at losing out on these opportunities! I'm feeling pretty useless at home which is a large rural property - I can't even lift the feed bags anymore!

But I know it will be worth it - it is worth it! I know I'll love this child with all my heart and I do desperatly want him/her........... but for some of us I guess it is hard to make that adjustment. You are definitely experiencing completely NORMAL emotions!

I think it's perfectly normal to be worried or upset about all the changes we are going through at the moment.

I am 25 weeks pregnant and some things about it have been driving me nuts for weeks now.

I hate needing to pee all the time!
I hate that I'm getting clumsier and clumsier!
I hate having to go buy new clothes to fit my changing shape!
I hate it that I don't feel safe cycling any more and have to take the bus instead!!!!
I hate having to choose stuff to eat and drink based on what is alright for baby, not what I feel like having just now (oh for a cold beer!)!

And what's worse, I know it's all going to get worse before it gets better, and at the end of this the whole baby thing will be totally life-changing, with the first few months mostly just hard, boring slog.

But, on the other side, I really want this to happen. And the changes to my body are also marvelous and wonderful, as well as annoying and uncomfortable. And I am so looking forward to having a small person to sing to, to read stories to, to play in the park with, to watch change and grow week by week. So I'm sure it's worth it in the end...

I feel exactly the same!! I keep saying to DH that Im really looking forward to getting my body back!! Didn't feel so strongly last two times, but this time Im really over it. LOVE feeling my baby kick, but I don't love my changing/growing body...or being restricted from doing/eating/drinking etc certain things!! xo

It's so good to hear that I am not the only one who want their body back already haha I have never had a chest this big I dont know what to do with it. It's always getting in the way and I cant find nice bras that suit my tops that I have grrr haha. Seriously the things we go through to keep the world going but I am looking forward to feeling it kick and meeting its daddy in may.

The boob thing is the thing I like least too. I get comments ALL the time and I hate it. But this is it, the sacrifices for our littlies starts straight away!! And I do know that once it's over, it's easier to look back more fondly on the pregnancy!! xo
