Oh sweetie, how stressful for you I have had a small bleed myself, also ended up at my doc's office having a scan but all was well in the end. I was almost 12 weeks. I have heard and read that bleeding is common in pg, however it always should be reported and checked out and that's what you did which is good. Sometimes it's a bleed somewhere in the uterus, and no one can tell why. As long as bub is OK it's good. And the cervix is closed which is excellent. I hope it slows down for you, and my only recommendation would be to rest up until it goes away completely. GL huni and I'm sending you 'go away bleeding' vibes. Big hugs lovely
I can imagine how scary it is just want to give you hugs, and say everything sounds good, your cervix is closed and Bub had an u/s??
Thinking of you xxxx
I had bleeding with my DDs pregnancy a few times early on and then at 20 weeks and 24 weeks. It sucks big time, but bub was ok. I have also had bleeding at 15 weeks this time, but again everything seems ok. Hope it settles down for you soon.
I had bleeding at 16 weeks and didn't stop til 20 weeks with this one and the damn hospital made me wait til Monday for a scan, they wouldn't even put the doppler or anything on - went in Saturday night... longest wait of my life. Anyway baby was and is fine didn't give me a reason as to why. When i went for my 20 week scan a few short weeks later the Sonographer let me know i have a low lying placenta and it's needs to be checked again at 32-34 weeks, my Doc thinks that probably was the reason why i had spotting and a little red blood from 16 - 20 weeks.
i have mostly stopped now. going brown ( sorry TMI)
i have another scan booked next friday just to make sure it is all still fine but the doc at the preg asses centre said yesterday that baby is exact right size and all looks good. strong heartbeat and wiggling heaps.
thanks again. fingers crossed
