Bowel Movement Colour

Probably TMI but has anyone else had REALLY dark bowel movements? almost black??? am a little concerned...is this blood in my stool or what???

Are you taking a pregnancy multi-vitamin? The iron in that can cause very dark stools.

Have you increased your iron intake lately? That always makes it a lot darker.

I am taking a supplement but this has only occured in the last week, I've been taking the supplement for the entire pregnancy...no extra Iron has been taken
