You may also have the pressure for continuous monitoring too as a VBAC'er, so thats something you will have to think about too. The last VBAC I attended we managed to only have monitoring once an hour which was great considering they wanted continuous but the Ob was also on our side and chosen specifically for his supportiveness of VBAC's.
