We were given my SIL's Emmaljunga (well, had - I have lent it to a GF) and my SIL specifically bought it because it was "the only pram a baby could sleep in according to the standards". SIL and BIL highly researched everything they bought for their son so I would believe this was the case. That said, how old is the Emmaljunga you are using? SIL's one is 5 years old. Not sure if models before that are "as safe" but I would suspect it would be ok...

My sister's pram is 8 years old but in top condition - the wheels are still white! - I hope I can use it for the night sleeps - at least for the first few months because I can keep baby next to my bed- after that I'll put the baby in the cot.
