I have only been feeling "definate" movements the past 2 weeks, but can sometimes be irregular like feeling them in the moning, going all the rest of the day without feeling some, and then heaps in the space of an hour at night and then none again. When i panick myself i always go to what i now call my 'reassuring chair'. When ever i sit on my chair in the study at the computer i feel kicks within 20mins. Dont know what it is about the chair - but its become a favourite of mine lately!!

I am a size 16-18 and thought that this was the reason i wasnt feeling them any earlier than 20wks as i presumed that there was more room and more 'movement detection barriers: i.e fat that were making things difficult. DH still hasnt been able to feel them!

When its early on like this u cant feel them all the time. Its when u reach your 3rd tri u should keep an eye on it a little more. By the time u get to 30 to 32 weeks u will know somethings there alright (2am in the morning, when ur trying to go to sleep at night etc etc).

Don't worry. Do you know where your placenta is? That can make a big difference. And having a bit more belly fat can also cushion movements (not saying that that is the case with you...)
I still don't feel nearly as many movements as my midwife can detect with the doppler. Sometimes Dh puts his ear on my belly and then reports that he's just been kicked in the head, but I felt nothing. I find that I can feel them better if I put my hand on my belly. Strangely enough, I can feel them stronger in my hand than in my belly.
    Good luck
