I was vegan for 2 1/2 years then a few weeks ago I NEEDED dairy, anything & everything. Only found out I was PG last week (& over 14 weeks gone at that!!) & have been having dairy & the occasional egg since - what baby wants, baby gets, even if I feel a bit guilty.
Also can't get enough chocolate or sweetness - am devouring those Jupiter bars like there is no tomorrow, they're chewy & caramely & delicious.... mmmmmmmmm....
Normally I'm a savoury person but atm I'm like "Dinner? Hhhhmmm... how about hot chocolate & a bounty??".
QueenMab- it is amazing the changes that go on when you are PG! Hey fancy not realising you were PG! it's kinda a good thing, cause the stressful part was already over before you even knew it!! when are you due? you should join in on the Belly Buddies thread that corresponds to your due date! It's fun comparing notes and all the girls are great!
Only in the last few weeks, FLAVOURED MILK!!! I go through 3L of it every two days, too bad the sugar content is so bad if I'm not suffering gestational diabetes I soon will be!!
I've run out though tonight I've been drinking lift and juice it's just not the same!!! *cries*
My cravings have changed from month to month. It was cheese, then short soup, then indian food, the BBQ Pork Ribs, then chocolate, then chocolate again, then ice-cream, then chocolate and now its KFC Mashes (and the promotion only goes for a month so when that finishes I will be forced to change cravings). At the very beginning I actually craved wine. Verdi to be exact. I think its different for every woman and also different each pregnancy.
