I do however get an urge for a certail food at 3 am in the morning, its only happened a few times...but the other night i woke up 3am, and needed yoghurt, i just couldnt fall back asleep without yoghurt...i ended up satisfying my needs with a glass of milk, which got me to sleep lol.

With all 4 pregnancies I didnt get any cravings until after the 22 week mark...

Baby no 1 it was baked beans
Baby no 2 - eggs, in any way, shape or form
Baby no 3 - first of all it was hot chips, then later on beef stoganoff
baby no 4 - peas.....have to cook them especially as no-one in my family likes them

Nothing weird or unusual, altough I cannot eat eggs now as they give me some digestive problems! V. weird, could eat them by the dozen when preg, now cant even touch them!

I didnt have any cravings at all for most of my pregnancy, but towards the last couple of months I chewed ice all day, I just could not get enough of it (lucky our fridge made it)
I drove my husband mad crunching away on it while watching tv, I would even go into maccas and just ask for a cup of ice, they looked at me weird. I had to have it all the time, so much so that when we went to a car show I hunted down the snow cone stand and just asked for plain snow cones, they thought I was weird too but I kept them in business all day, my tongue was so numb.

Oh I hope you DO get cravings! There is NOTHING more wonderful than being able to satisfy a craving...like a big white bread roll jammed with potato chips, vegemite and cheese. Or a bowl of icecream with milo and strawberry topping, or a roll with peanut butter, turkey, cheese and carrot.

I have on several occasions CRIED with joy whilst stuffing my face.

Oh I wish I got cravings... they sound fantastic.

I might just make one up for giggles. I'll wake DF up at 3am and tell him that I MUST MUST have *insert something obscure here* immediately and he has to get me some NOW. lol. I'm sure he'll be impressed.

Can't say that I've had cravings as such - though in the very begining I wanted jelly (as in jelly and icecream). Didn't want it at any strange times just after I had dinner. I put it down to it being summer and the sort of thing you would eat in summer Hubbie did say to me that he'd been told that it was common because of the gelatine in the jelly ???? Can't believe the number of people who've both had kids and not had kids that ask me about the cravings? That and do you know the sex?

Lulu - loved that you have cried with joy when you're eating what you wanted to

LOL, thats exactly the same as with me....DP hates peas and so I havent had peas in like a year or more. And I love them, I just cant be bothered to buy a big packet of peas and dirty a saucepan just to cook myself a serve.

DP has warned me, if i ever serve him peas he will flick them at me with his fork lol.
It was weird cause when i met his nanna for the first time, she said the exact same thing about if anyone serves her peas, she will flick them back at em...lol...mind you shes in her 70's lol
