Sweet almond oil rubbed onto the skin is very effective, then flannel it off with a hot flannel. I think the heat helps to absorb it and you are not left with oily skin. I get the Melrose brand from the health food shop for $7.50. I thinks its 500mls. It's also very good as a general belly or back rub, for stretch marks and to help stretch the perineum in your final 6 weeks and during labour for the back and perinuem. It is a very fine oil that is harmless to you and bub and absorbs quite well if left on.
