    Does your heartrate increase? It could be heart palpitations i experienced them with my DD i didn't know what they were but i felt exactly like you described.

    No, my heart doesn't race at all. Last week I had really sharp pains in my chest (all I was doing was folding up some washing). They were really sharp pains and ran right down my arm. When I was still they weren't there but as soon as I moved it was there again. Then it just went away. I have had that once before in this pregnancy. It goes as quick as it comes. So different to my first lol.

    I had similar with DS2 and googled it and was convinced I had pre eclampsia. So off I went to the hosp one afternoon when I was having trouble catching my breath and found out it was actually due to my back. If your back is out (as it can be when pg) in the same area as your chest this can affect the entire area IYKWIM. I was put on the list for physio and had this every 6wks or so leading up to the birth, was a great relief.
