You can get the non-diagnostic sex determination scan done. Costs close to the same as the test your talking about. Here both the test and the scan are $100 And at the one I'm booked into, if they can't get a good view even after giving you a drink / go for a walk, they re-book free of charge.

hello,im not sure about those tests, but i paid $50 to get a scan done at 28 weeks and they guarenteed the sex and they basically dont let you leave untill they can tell.It was great!!It was at a 3d scan place. Not sure how much the chemist ones are though.dont you hate it when they dont cooperate when the scan is on so you can see good and clear!!

Personally I wouldn't trust anything but a scan...

I bought one the very same day they hit the shelves! I was only about 11 weeks then I think and had just "known" since I found out I was pregnant that it was a Boy - The test immediately came up BOY - My 20 week Ultrasound confirmed this So it worked for me! I did alot of research on the product before it came to Aus and decided to go ahead and try it, just for fun! I didn't run out and buy Blue until after my 20 week Ultrasound... I think if you're not going to take it too seriously, go ahead, there are alot of success stories that it has been spot on with and a few it hasn't - Like everything in life! Works for some, not for all... If I were you, I'd be going for a gender scan instead/as well

    Good luck!!

We had our 18-20wk scan yesterday ... we are expecting a baby girl.

This is after we did the intellitest at 11 wks and it immediatly came up with a BOY result.

Really odd, DH and I were convinced we were having a baby boy - even before we did the intellitest - and we didn't really take the intellitest seriously, but we were otherwise convinced we were having a boy.
It's our first bub so we are just thrilled to know all is ok with bub and yes, we are happily surprised with the news that our little bundle of joy will be a pink one!

I guess, the intellitest has a 50% chance of being correct, just wasn't in our case?

    Hi

Me and my partner did the intelligender test when I was 11.5wks pregnant because I have a history of early mc and we wanted to know just incase.

It claims to have an 80% success rate if you follow the instructions exactly which we were very careful to do so. It came back that we were having a girl, stupidly I got all excited and went and brought a few pink things convinced I was having a girl. I had my 19wk scan yesterday which revealed we were infact having a BOY.

We're still over the moon cos bub is healthy and that is all that matters but that intelligender is a complete waste of money. I've read alot of similar stories about it as well (should've come here before buying it).
