yup gaviscon. Or if you prefer to stay away from medicines then take a bottle of milk everywhere you go. If it's not heartburn for me, it's mouthfuls of bile, yuck!

I like fruit tingles. Someone on the forum recommended them to me and I swear by them.
yep fruit tingles! if it's not really bad. When it gets worse through the day Zantac. my gp and ob recommended Zantac. I took 12hr tablets when fruit tingles didn't work.
Rennies!! I lived by them, plus some bright little spark told me that if you sleep on your right side, the little flap on your tummy valve thingo (yep, practically a doctor I am!) drops into the closed position and if you sleep on your left it is more open.. Was a bit suss, but BOY did it help a lot! Plus I slept on about 3 pillows from about 20 weeks onwards! Bonus was the heartburn and reflux ended on the delivery table!! Had lunch after DS was born, then had to lie there for a bit while the epie wore off, and thought I would be really in for it.. and NOTHING!! Was totally gone, just like that! Was almost as good as finding out he was a boy!! LOL
NB: Hoping and praying our new little bubble is going to be a girl and there will be NO heartburn!! HEY.. a girl can hope can't she??
