It's the bi-carb I think. Pretty sure they have a higher sodium content though

Rennies!! I lived by them, plus some bright little spark told me that if you sleep on your right side, the little flap on your tummy valve thingo (yep, practically a doctor I am!) drops into the closed position and if you sleep on your left it is more open.. Was a bit suss, but BOY did it help a lot! Plus I slept on about 3 pillows from about 20 weeks onwards! Bonus was the heartburn and reflux ended on the delivery table!! Had lunch after DS was born, then had to lie there for a bit while the epie wore off, and thought I would be really in for it.. and NOTHING!! Was totally gone, just like that! Was almost as good as finding out he was a boy!! LOL

NB: Hoping and praying our new little bubble is going to be a girl and there will be NO heartburn!! HEY.. a girl can hope can't she??

I suffer from real bad reflux, i swear by mylanta!

Rennie and quickeze make me throw up so i stick to mylanta and it works a treat. I always have a massive bottle in my fridge and i have some before bed after eating foods that cause me terrible reflux.

I'm into the Rennies, too....don't know why, but this has been my worst pregnancy for reflux....twas bad with the last too, but not THIS bad. I have had some reprieve from the really horrible stuff in the last week or two, tho, strangely (but thankfully). I was starting to get really sick of vomiting hugely acidic bile all day.....
