    hi girls,
    thanks for the suggestions - i don't really want to go out and I've already sent DF on a craving mission tonight but Mylanta is crap!!!!
    I'm ok while I'm sitting up but the minute I lie down it's horrible.
    Hopefully it'll pass soon.......

    i had the worst reflux and heartburn for eating half a bag of sour worm lollies(u know those extra sour ones)went and got gaviscon double strength liquid(safe for pregnancy)and gaviscon chews for heartburn..is working!!! give it a try

    Macca's shakes was all that would work for me (even if you not ment to have them...).

    i used the 'rennie' tablets. i have heard that fruit tingle lollies work for some too.

    hey guys,
    thanks for the suggestions!!!
    I ended up getting up at about 2am and making a blue heaven milkshake with about half a tub of icecream in it and that helped (I'l try and remind myself that it helped when I have to be craned off the couch because I am too fat to move!!!!) PMSL

    For some reason all the antacid stuff makes me want to throw up- does that happen to anyone els?

    For that exact reason i cant take anything! Mylanta, Rennies, Gaviscon etc...

    The minute it touches my tongue i race to the loo to vomit.

    Not good when in labour....contractions, vomitting and holding onto my bladder LOL
