So far I have put on 8kg this pregnancy.

With my first I put on 20kg, but i was only a mere 45kg before I was pregnant! Plus I was only 17....lol

Breast feeding is a great way to lose weight i reckon!

Nope wasnt able with DD being premie.. my body produced NO MILK AT ALL.. and I tried,
Medication ( they trippled the dose)
    Accupuncture
    Accupressure
    Meditation
Feeding her every 2 hours around the clock for 5 days.
    I TRIED IT ALL
Hired lac consultant, YOU NAME IT I DID IT.

BUT with DS i was a jersey cow!

I was a little overweight when I conceived DD1 so didn't put on too much - 8kg in total. Lost all that plus an extra 5kg within a week.

This time I started around 8kg lower than last time and have put on less than a kilo so far which I'm pretty happy with because I have a dodgy pelvis and basically can't walk let alone exercise. But because I can't exercise, I don't need to eat very much.

Am expecting my weight gain to be around 8kg so the same as last time. Am hoping it falls off after the birth again like last time too - though I know it was mostly fluid last time as my ankles were the size of an elephant's.

hey didispunk, don't stress! We're all different. I've read that it's quite common for smaller women to put on higher amounts of weight and women who are already large are likely to gain less. We're all unique. You get mamma's who gain 30 kilo's and mumma's who gain nothing. A healthy bubba and mumma is all that matters in the end

I put on 12 kilo's all up with DD and this time I've put on 2 kilo's so far (at 20 weeks). Bearing in mind though that I am on the chunkier side already so don't need to gain any more bodyfat IYKWIM.

    Relax and enjoy your pregnancy

With ds I put on 27kg This pg I've put on 10kg, much more managable but I started a bit heavier as well....

I ordered an omlette for breakfast at a coffee shop this morning, commented how large it was when it came out and the waitress looked at me and replied "well, a big girl like you should be able to finish it"!!!

I would have thrown it back in her face!!

With this pregnancy I actually haven't put on any weight. But I'm thinking it's just distributing to different areas as my boobs are heaps bigger and I have a massive belly. Weird.
Previous pregnancies I've gained around 15kg.
