hey love, i'm feeling your pain.
I'm about teh same 9/10 weeks left and they can't go soon enough.
but just think of the dosh you are earning that you can then spend on baby stuff! lol.
luckily for me i'm super busy at work so my days fly by and my weeks go even quicker. is there anything more you can do to help make the day busier? i really find that helps as before you know it it's 5pm and hometime
and i also agree with ttcanxiety - better to spend time with these irritating people while you get prego sympathy than afterwards when all you want to do with be with your bubba.
i really hope the time flies for you lady ox hang in there... you are on the home stretch.![]()
boy do i hear you, i have just over 3 weeks to go and i CANT WAIT!! if we didnt need the money so bad id want to quit, but in saying that i know i would drive myself bonkers, so going to work gives me something to do.
i work in subway so am constantly on my feet, what i would give to have an office job
your matt leave will come sooner than you think, until then take it easy and try not to get too down![]()
Hearing you all ladies hearing you all ............. and previously I was very work driven and focused so is a very strange head space to be in for me. Guess its minds way of giving us a reality check and making us see what the really important things in life are.
Like the others said concentrate on all the pros - the money, the extra time you'll have with the baby at the other end and actually having "something" to do.
One thing I've tried to do is go out at lunchtime and go for a walk. Great to clear the head and I know the exercise is good tooand it seemed to give me the extra boost I needed to get through the afternoon.
I finish at the end of next week but am training my replacement right now so thats keeping me busy and occupied and time if going by much quicker. Perhaps you need to try to find a new "challange" in work that will take up the time.
Good luck - hope it gets better.
Me Me Me
I'm sick of work already and I've got ages to go. I work in a pretty stessful job and TBH some days I just couldn't be bothered. Staying awake is hard enough and the train ride there and back is a killer.
But I agree, the longer I stay at work, the longer I can take off afterwards. I'm only working 3 days so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.
Trust me you are better off at work. The time at home between working & having bub is very boring. I only had a week and a half off & for that time I just stressed about everything that could go wrong. I didn't have time to do that at work.
I didn't want to be at work, but it was the best place for me.
I have 12 weeks left at work now, and will have 4 off before bubby's due. I'm grateful for work at the moment cause it's a distraction for me and helps pass the time quickly. I just know that last month is going to draw on forever
I love my days off though, and don't feel like going back to work after them, but once I'm back at work, there's another week gone before I know it and I'm another week closer to bubby coming.
Ladies,
I am totally with you on this one!
I'm finishing up in just over 12 weeks, when I'm 32 weeks.
So I'll have 8 weeks (hopefully) before bubs comes.
My reasoning for this will be the HOT weather and very poor air con and ventilation in my building!
I can't wait!!!
Hi girls,
I agree, Im over work too! Well more so the travelling to and from work. It takes me over an hour each way so I am BUGGERED by the time I get home.
Work itself is fine, when not TOO busy as Im finding it hard to concentrate properly, lol
As I get bigger, Im slowing down physically and its a struggle just to walk! I only have 6 weeks left of work, cant WAIT! When I finish, I want to spend my time washing all of bubs clothes and thoroughly cleaning the nursery properly as you cant clean it too soon before the baby arrives as it will just get dusty again
Like others have said, if it wasnt for needing the money, I wouldve left earlier!!!!
Cheers,
Tania
