You know this might sound funny but
the time off work before baby came (and it was only 2 weeks for me - i worked to 37 weeks with #1) was worse than being at work as i was impatient and waiting...

think of work as a way of passing time and getting paid lol!

I worked up to 37 weeks with my first child too... I found that at least I was able to be distracted from all my aches and pains better than being at home.... just to see a positive. With my second child I only worked until 6 months... but it was a job that I was on my feet all day (childcare) with lifting and other health risks.

Enjoy the peace and quiet... and cleanliness of the workplace while you have it.... I would love nothing more than an office of my own. Look at your favourite pen... it's right there whenever you want it isn't it? LOL I can't have a favourite pen... it will either be pulled apart and destroyed by my 3yo, thrown behind the fridge by my 5yo or stolen by my 14yo.

Maybe keep a pregnancy journal online... that will help you look busy

I'm a SAHM atm, but when I was pregnant with ds I went on maternity leave at 24 weeks. I was sick a lot and my job was very physically and emotionally demanding.

On the upside, it gave me plenty of time to nest, rest, read books and walk (a kilometre a day ) On the down side, the nesting drove my dh insane, there are only so many books you can read, having a clean house became an obsession that was really difficult to break after the birth, I lost contact with a lot of friends from work, I was lonely, bored and absolutley stir crazy by about 34 weeks.

Stay at work for those extra few weeks. They'll go much quicker being at work than being at home. and like Bath said, enjoy the serenity of your office, having time to yourself- it will pass too quickly. By the time bub is about 4 weeks old, work will seem like some kind of fantasy oasis.

haha, I'm hearing ya sister! I'm over work too. Really really hanging out for maternity leave and being able to hold my little bundle and becoming a house wife and looking after both of my boys!

And yep, the refresh button on BB is getting hit quite often

Do you have flexible work hours? Instead of working from 8.30 til 5 I have changed my hours from 7.30 til 4. I find that it makes me feel like I'm working less (even though I'm not) and getting that extra hour at home to potter around the place is bliss.

Least you only have 10 more weeks though, I have 15!
