My DH was the same. He was very distant when I was feeling DD eventually he was able to feel her and was forever laying his head on my belly and resting his hand there.
It is harder for the blokes because we get to feel connected to bubs so much earlier, for me it was like at 2 weeks after conception (or wishful thinking due to her being muchly anticipated). DH wasn't able to feel her until closer to 25weeks I think.
I tried to keep it to myself as much as possible to avoid hurting his feelings. Also, it does take a bit to actually realise what he is feeling is the baby kicking and not just a pulse type thing. KWIM?!
Good luck and reassure DH that he will feel bubs soon. And then you can spoon him at night and let bubs kick the cr@p outta him![]()

It's hard because you are sooo excited and he (the daddy) feels so left out and we all know what big babies they truley are 
it became a joke with us i dont think she felt him until about 36wks
