Laura - I first felt movement (wouldn't call them kicks though) at about 14 weeks. Felt the movements for a couple of weeks and then didn't feel anything really for a couple of weeks after that. For me it seemed normal. Then the first real "kick" came at around 18-19 weeks. I think even after that I could go a day or two without feeling much. There is still plenty of room in there and if you've been busy yesterday and today you might have missed it.
I agree with the others though - try the cold drink, OJ, something with sugar etc and lie down.
If that doesn't work, I'd get an appt tomorrow to get checked. There's no point worrying until Wed.
Hope bubs has just had a quiet couple of days in there
I did the cold drink thing and nothing happened but I felt two small kicks while trying to fall asleep.I know I should be reassured by that but I still feel anxious about it.I just can't relax, i was similar last pregnancy too.I keep thinking what if something is wrong, I hate that I can't see in to my belly and know that all is ok.
Hopefully after my u/s tomorrow I'll be reassured everything is ok.
I was getting worried last week cause i was only feeling the baby a couple of times a day rather than regularly and the kicks were quite gentle.
Then Sunday it had a marathon session while i was at the movies (with an icy cold drink) and again yesterday for no particular reason with more regular movemnets felt in between these times. I guess it just needed a few days of quite time probably for a growth spurt.
I have noticed in general this baby doesn't kick as much but if i rest for a bit i find i feel alot of movement of the baby turning etc rather than kicking. It's not noticable when your moving or concentrating on something else.
