mine has been around 90/50 for the past few check ups. There's nothing you can really do, but it's not harmful for baby. Just means i sometimes feel a bit faint if i get up too quickly, haven't eaten for a while, or have been standing up for a while. Low BP is better than high BP so that's what i keep telling myself!
I have always had low blood pressure and it seems to stay the same during pregnancy.
Fainting and dizzyness are a problem for me, so try not to stand still for too long, for example, if you are in a queue waiting for something move from side to side to prevent getting dizzy. And if you do feel dizzyness coming on then sit down and put your head down, or start walking and see if that helps. I don't know of any problems to bubs due to low blood pressure, just more of a yucky feeling for mum really!
Mine is usually around 100/60 lately, so not too bad.
Me too. I have low blood pressure normally (and high iron, I just like to be different LOL), and it was worse during pg (the bp not the iron). I had to be very careful about standing up quickly or standing for any period of time. I didn't need any special management though. The worst time was after the epidural when I was in labour with Jack. Epidurals lower bp and even though I was given extra fluid to compensate, I was unable to sit up to push - they raised my head and I instantly felt dizzy and very nauseaous.
