Question this may be a little too TMI for some...

so i've read all five preg. books i own, googled it (and failed at that!). and found ONE book that tells me im some what normal. (supriseingly it was Up The Duff by Kaz Cooke...)

i've found im sweting alot more (ok, i've always been a little swety (sp?)...) but more so now. and its not so much under the arms as my feet and...between my thunderus thighs. im one step away from useing liners now as im fairly...moist (sp?) down there (the book said this would happen ealier) and i'm wondering if im "normal" or if im just slowly truning into some kind of leeky spunge (i will be that if/when i start leeking from my boobs...)

and the other thing i did see in the symtoms but im not 100% sure if i know what it means. it says crusty nipples...well...is that like dry skin all around the darker part? or dry skin on/in the nipple it self? becuase i've found of late i get a little dry skin IN the nipple and it gets ichy, so i scrach/pull it out and its ok. same around the nipple, but its slowly going away. i've tried vit.C cream. and lanolin. but im not sure if thats really helping. and i dont feel good asking my mother or DF mother for advice/help so im here on the BB asking for

Ohh and one last question, i've been getting alot of streching around my pelvic area. and i find that sqwotting(sp?) helps. is there any other positions i can use? becuase after a few mins my knees/thigh mucles give in and im standing up again....

    thanking-you in advance!

cause your a lil incubator at the moment, you are going to feel warmer. Perhaps cause you are a sweaty kinda person, it's making you sweat more. As for the lovely wet undies.. I've got that with all my PG, just another lovely symptom for me.

Use Lansinol cream (from chemist) for nipples or paw paw ointment. Lansinol is great with BF as you don't need to wipe it off to feed, and it still allows nipples to "breath".

Can't help with pelvic stretches.. maybe sitting on loo bent over so hands on ground? sorry.. no idea!

    hello

it all sounds normal to me, i had itchy nipples and dryness etc, it was really annoying. i had the wetness to and it got so bad at one point i thought i had either peed myself or was leaking amnio fluid lol but it was just moisture i just didnt realise at the time that it could get that bad. i had to wear a pad for a couple of weeks then it eased up.

as for the pelvic stretches not sure sorry.

Sounds normal to me too I am with you on the ... uhm ... wet undies. It's darn irretating and worrysome at the same time!!

**WARNING** Totally Over Cautions Woman ahead!!
Also I don't think it's a good idea to pick off the dry bits of skin .... I would rather just apply some nipple cream and leave them there to be rubbed off naturally (by your underwear, or when you wash in the shower - now don't rub harder than usual) I am worried that you might just pick at one that are not really "loose" yet and it might bleed and become infected ... You don't want cracked nippels BEFORE bfing! I get those little flakes IN the nipple too ... I just leave them there. If I itch I rub over my clothes, just enough to make the itch go away.

About the streching. (it's squatting ) Could just be your uterus expanding (could be Braxton Hicks ) Stand up straight and take deep breaths and breath "out" the pain. Sounds lame, but that might also come in handy during labour .. regulating your breathing and managing your pain like that.

As the PP's have said its all perfectly normal by the sounds of it. Being more sweaty during pg is very normal as your temp is higher than it used to be (mine's sitting around 37 where before pg its about 36.5), so its just something to get used to..........Panty liners are a great idea if your feeling icky, you do have more discharge during pg too.

Dry nipples are totally normal too, the Lasinoh cream from the chemist is wonderful and also suggested to take before baby comes to help condition the nipples and make them nice and supple for bf'ing..........Another cheaper and natural way is using the colostrum coming out of them after your shower, colostrum and breastmilk is wonderful for dry skin on Mum and also when baby comes, the best thing you can use imo!

I'd suggest starting some pregnancy yoga, not sure how far along you are (I can never be bothered looking at the tickers) but starting that to prepare your body for labour is a wonderful idea. Your body naturally loosens up during pg so now's a good time to get your body limber for giving birth.

    Enjoy your pg

    Cheers,

    Beck

ahh thanks for all the replys. i feel MUCH better now, knowing all my leeking and swetting is normal! heh.

as for the dry skin. im a picker. i have so-ri-i-sus (gawd i cant spell it due to it's crappy spelling..and me being a bad speller!) so i pick at dry skin and know when to stop (i have the so-ri-i-sus on the back of my neck, belly button and my wooharr...so i know when picking is too much) but i wasnt sure if it was normal.

so thank-you ladies again for the help! to every one.
