I had the same thing happen a few weeks ago so i rung the hospital as it had been about 3 days. They got me to go in and they listened for the heartbeat. Everything was fine, like someone else said, i was probably just busy and didn't notice the movements.

The hospital gave me a pamphlet re baby movements. It lists the following factors that can affect baby's regular movements;
- Not eating regulary through the day
- Not drinking enough fluids
- Use of illicit drugs
- Placental position
- Prescribed medications
- Over activity through the day
- Being unwell
- May be the usual pattern for your baby

They also told me to have a really cold drink/something sweet to eat - this worked really well.

I felt so stupid when the midwife said she could hear the baby moving around but they did tell me i did the right thing contacting the hospital for a quick checkup as sometimes you just don't know.
