    Thanks for the giggles girls!!

I may as well put in my two bobs worth (as embarassing as it is!).

I LOVE my toy and so far, it all seems good so I'm not hanging it up on the shelf just yet! I do make sure I wash it very well and use the antibacterial spray after each session.

On another funny note, DH and I are so useless at DTD now that Tarko is involved! Neither of us have managed to reach the big O (by actually DTD that is) cause we both end up giggling and the mood kind of changes. It's always a positive mood and we're always laughing cause we just think we're so damn useless at DTD these days!!! Our mate asked what we'd been up to the other afternoon and DH said to me later that he was thinking 'oh you know, trying to have sex but failing miserably!'. Hilarious.

Just to confirm what many others have said, enjoy your toys they will not harm your baby providing that you keep them clean

What a great thread! I'm sure all of this is totally fine as long as you don't get too rough and like others have said keep hygeine front of mind with your toys! It's funny because DF & I used to be like that but since being preg I've lost my drive and only feel like it very occassionally I never thought this would happen to me!!

Anyone know if sex drive and the sex of the baby are related? Someone told me that you want it more if you're having a girl and less if you're having a boy although I'm not sure if there is any truth to this??

Enjoy your men & your toys girls!

OH you guys are getting me so jealous!! And a good case of the giggles...

I am with Nae - my OB actually told me with my son and this one that we could have sex, only DH had to use a condom (prostin in sperm) and I wasn't allowed to O!! So that kind of took all the zing out of it for us... Boo Hoo for us... Go for it ladies!

I'm having a boy and Dp and i have only DTD five times since i got pregnant. I don't want anything to do with male bits.

Although, my toy has been getting used a fair bit. Weird huh, don't want the real thing but am fine with the fake one. Lol

Thanks girls. I agree with the effort thing. I don't mind it on my own but when it comes to the real thing.... well, who can really be bothered?!!!

    Hey girls,
Stevie - So glad you asked - was wondering myself the other day so googled it...and then found a section in the brand new edition of What To Expect and, for the first time ever, they have included a section on toys (and other forms of sexual satisfaction)... and they have said that both vibrators and dildos are safe to use because they are just artificial versions of the real thing!
I sighed with relief because I have just purchased my first toy ... think my husband might be relieved to get some sleep... My sex-drive has become ridiculous and it's all I think about!!! How embarrassing!!!
Anyway, good for you on the post - and NaeNae - that sucks!!! I would be climbing the walls!!!
    All the best buzzing-buddies!
