MantaRay, you answered a question of mine. I wasny sure if you should wear underwire bras when pg. I had a feeling I read it somewhere but couldnt find it again. My boobs have only just started to grow and only one at this stage which is really weird. I need to get a new bra but didnt know about the underwire.

I didn't realise you shouldn't wear underwire bras when pg, i do but i don't buy the cheap and nasties either, mine are normally the $50 - $60 ones as i have learnt that the cheap ones are normally VERY nasty IYKWIM!
I will be getting fitted in the next month and i would say that i will go upto a DD, but seriously my BB's haven't grown copious amounts, just a bit fuller, but i know they will when my milk comes in!

    thankyou ladies.
i think i'll get the extender for my bra. as for underwires, i dont feel...comfterable with out them. so thats why i'd like to get ones to sleep in and slowly get used to it. as for BF, i know you shouldnt wear underwires becuase it can cause blockages in milk ducts (so a ladie i work with told me..)

i understand getting -re sized and i will in about 3 weeks becuase i'm half way though and need to save some money for the BF bras. the ones i bought wherent "nasty" cheap. they're really good, my mother looked at them (she's very fussy with this kind of thing) and said they where good with ALOT of support...but i will go and have another look in 3 weeks once i have some money...

Hun, you'll find maternity bras are pretty supportive. You can get blocked ducts while pg too, so you really should avoid the underwire. You will get used to it.

Switch to mat bras. I did at the end of the first tri. I got Hestia Maternity Sports Star bras from Big W. Comfy as so you could easily where them to bed.

I just got my first mat bras this morning and was thinking, great no underwire, nothing's gonna hold these babies up, lol. But I was very surprised how supportive they were!!
