    Question questions about...bra's and "growing"

my first question is about bras. i may sound really stupid for asking but i will any way becuase im clueless at this point about whats happening!

last week i found out that i went from being a 14c to a 16d. (woo for BIG jumps) and i bought 4 new bras (if any one has a 'forbs lingrie' near them they have AWSUM deals...at times) and they where normaly $6 each. down to $3 becuase they have 50% off some of their bras and what nots. they're really good bras, like HEAPS of support. now my question is; they are really wide at the part between my boobies. and i'm finding that they're almost digging into where my dio-fram (sp?) is. (due to me be cuddly before getting preg.) and i want to know if it'd be worth me getting one of those bra extender thingys you clip onto the back? because other then that, they fit really well! and i find it only happens after i eat....as odd as it sounds. and i dont really want to have to go down and buy an 18D if i can avoid it...and my other question is has any one got any idea where i can get like 'cotten' bras that dont have an underwire in them? becuase right now im sleeping braless and i *think* i'll need the support for my two puppies in summer time when im HUGE and HOT....but i've had a quick look at Big W and forbs...but nothing really was there...any ideas at all??

and the growing one. last night i woke up with this almost "ripping" feeling along my right abb mucle. like i rolled over onto my back ( i was on my right side) and lay there for a while and it went away. thismoring i got up and i was fine. i've had no pain or tenderness there, but im just wondering if thats becuase i was on my side and blip was on leaning on the mucle making it strech or what..and i guess above all has ANY one felt this at all before....i have an u/s thursday...so i duno...am i normal or just slowly starting to blow up like that girl in charlie and the choccie factory who ate that gum and had to roll her out?

hope every one is haveing a good human growing day

About the stretching question. I find if I have been laying in bed and turn over I sometimes get that pain in my muscles like kind of on the sides of my belly. Must be when I turn over the wrong way, not used to having to think of my belly and my muscles are already getting stretched so i just have to be more careful with what I'm doing.

as for the bra question.. yep head out and get a bra extender..

if ur looking for more bras in the future, get some maternity/nursing ones.. make sure u get a bigger size than u usually do coz when ur milk comes in ur boobies do alot of swelling. u can ppick up cheap maternity bra's from big w.

Hun, did you know that you shouldn't wear underwire bras during pg and bfing? Also, it is likely that you will still go up at least another size during your pg, and especially when your milk comes in. So if the bras get tight, go and get yourself fitted again. You will also need to be fitted right near the end or you pg to get bras that will do you when your milk comes in.

MantaRay, you answered a question of mine. I wasny sure if you should wear underwire bras when pg. I had a feeling I read it somewhere but couldnt find it again. My boobs have only just started to grow and only one at this stage which is really weird. I need to get a new bra but didnt know about the underwire.

I didn't realise you shouldn't wear underwire bras when pg, i do but i don't buy the cheap and nasties either, mine are normally the $50 - $60 ones as i have learnt that the cheap ones are normally VERY nasty IYKWIM!
I will be getting fitted in the next month and i would say that i will go upto a DD, but seriously my BB's haven't grown copious amounts, just a bit fuller, but i know they will when my milk comes in!

    thankyou ladies.
i think i'll get the extender for my bra. as for underwires, i dont feel...comfterable with out them. so thats why i'd like to get ones to sleep in and slowly get used to it. as for BF, i know you shouldnt wear underwires becuase it can cause blockages in milk ducts (so a ladie i work with told me..)

i understand getting -re sized and i will in about 3 weeks becuase i'm half way though and need to save some money for the BF bras. the ones i bought wherent "nasty" cheap. they're really good, my mother looked at them (she's very fussy with this kind of thing) and said they where good with ALOT of support...but i will go and have another look in 3 weeks once i have some money...

Hun, you'll find maternity bras are pretty supportive. You can get blocked ducts while pg too, so you really should avoid the underwire. You will get used to it.

Switch to mat bras. I did at the end of the first tri. I got Hestia Maternity Sports Star bras from Big W. Comfy as so you could easily where them to bed.

I just got my first mat bras this morning and was thinking, great no underwire, nothing's gonna hold these babies up, lol. But I was very surprised how supportive they were!!
