watery discharge

Hi all

I will be 18wks pregnant this thursday and for the last few days i have noticed very watery discharge,to the point that my underwear is really wet and i need to change about 3 times a day!

Im very very worried now because it only clicked to me today that it might be my fluids leaking.
I have smelt it and it dosnt smell like urine ,it smells more like(tmi)sexual discharge,but i havnt done it for about a week so its not that.
Has anyone else had this much discharge at this stage of pregnancy.This is my
3rd child and it didnt happen with my other kids
I have a hossy appointment on thursday i might get the midwife to check if it is my fluids

Hi-

I'm now 20 weeks preg with me second....i have not yet had any watery discharge but i have heard that in this trimester it is normal tohave increased amounts of discharge... If your unsure maybe just go to a GP at your local doctors surgury..... sorry o couldnt be more help but wish you luck

I'd be inclined to ring the hossy and see if you can get in any earier. Just to have a check for you peace of mind.

thanks for your concern jess,i havnt gone to the docters as yet,i thought i would try putting a pad on and see if it gets soaked,it didnt get soaked so i thought i will leave it till tomorrow until i go for my appointment,will keep you updated.

Hi sharon,

I thought that it might be bladder weakness after 2 children but the only thing is that it dosnt smell like urine but it is watery and a beige colour(sorry tmi).maybe im wrong and i dont know what urine really smells like but it is getting worrying and also annoying to have to change my underwear every 5 seconds! lol
By the way how far along are you sharon?

Sorry it has taken me long to reply i have been really sick...

well it turns out that its just a weak bladder

im also getting extra discharge because im told that happens in the second trimester

rurumummy - I'm constantly changing nickers so I know the feeling. I've had lots of similar discharge for several weeks now but apparently it's considered normal.
